Why do you think RPC community writes so many callouts? It seems like personal problems between friends are now dealt with as a spectacle.

We can only think it's because they want the public to be involved and to drive out the person they see as "bad" and never to return, because god forbid you exist in the same space but play with different people.

It's about control and being a bully but wanting to feel "right," and blowing things far out of proportion, with scare words like accusing someone of being phobic over a comment which was innocently ignorant at best.

about 90% of callouts are just personal RP drama exaggerated to try to drive someone out completely. We get asks like that a lot, "x member ignored my call to RP, can you make a callout about them," etc.

That wasn't and was never the point of this blog. The more this blog goes unused, the better. It's not meant to be active. There's a big problem if it is super active.

The information you provided only paints you in a more negative light, since it becomes very clear you are still harassing a non-native speaker for not understanding western american culture and terminology, and their friends who are also non-native speakers. You CONTINUE to make posts and republish posts that should have been kept in the past.

If you wish to be a mature adult about this, all of you will delete all of your callouts and simply move forward in life. Block the person if you haven’t.

I would like to ask if you have seen the callout post against oh-my-hashirama featured on heisperfect blog? oh-my-hashirama keeps saying "these are personal conversations" or "i am not a native English speaker" which seems redundant and a method of using self pity in order to make the callout evidences seem 'lesser'? Hello. We’ve received multiple asks about this. At this point we’ve also received a mention and a “call to arms” of sort.

To avoid reading through a long slog, oh-my-hashirama is in the RIGHT and is the VICTIM in this case. the people they have mentioned are in the WRONG, and are the BULLIES/HARASSERS, and ALL parties should delete their callouts. Forlornwind (please never mention us again to try to do your bidding in drama) is in the WRONG and should grow up and delete the URLs from their DNI and remove their pinned callout post. 

Let us reiterate that this blog is not very big. It doesn’t have a high follower count, and its purpose has never been to reblog callout posts which amount to drama.

After searching through the various callout posts from both parties, this has ultimately surmounted to DRAMA. This blog is not focused on pure drama, we are here to combat actual instances of bigots using the platform to spread their hate.

We won’t be able to list every instance but here are just a few that this boils down to pure drama that any actual mature adult would have been able to let go of years ago, instead of dragging it out.

Forlornwind has a callout that calls back to the subject of Tolkien/LOTR, lore in elves, and intersex individuals. Here is a discussion had with someone who was very familiar with the lore (orange), as we are not.

There is an off topic mention of theme legibility, as we struggled to read some of the themes the blogs are using (for all parties involved.)

Prince Oreo (forlornwind)  admits they are not knowledgeable about intersex/other gender issues, discards the mention of actual, modern scientific diagrams in favor of what the author of the media had to say (terms which are not considered acceptable in present time), and also uses the lore of the media incorrectly, whereas Krissy (the person the callout is against), uses the terms correctly and fairly. 

Krissy’s post, much like oh-my-hashirama’s, is written fairly and in a tone to hope to escape the drama and simply move on, whereas post like forlornwind’s are meant to get people to harass someone for you. The tone of a callout often has everything to do with the intentions the user has, and most are simply witch-hunts.

We won’t be linking any of the individual callouts, as again, we do not condone harassment of any kind, but URLs are available and anyone can find them if they so wish. 

Let us also address a very important topic:

Cultural Divides are a real thing and you should not act like they aren’t. Terms, Ways of thinking, etc are all different across the world and you cannot hold someone to your standard and act like they are being offensive when they simply don’t understand. Especially if they are making an effort to. Oh-My-Hashirama clearly made an attempt to understand American views and was clearly villified for it.

This is a clear example of them simply not understanding, trying to, and being treated like the bigot for not understanding. Being called racist here was not warranted. 

If you cannot understand and accept that cultural barriers exist and try to work around them, YOU are the problem, and not the person you are accusing. Not everyone on tumblr or any website is an American, and it is actually incredibly narrow minded and racist to hold people to these standards and also refuse to explain terminology when asked. 

This is all we have to say on the matter. Oh-My-Hashirama is in fact the victim here, Goldencored is also another victim who clearly wishes to move on, and forlornwind is the problem who cannot mature enough to simply move forward without having to bring this up constantly. 

This all boils down to drama and isn’t the point of this blog. Do not contact us on this matter again.

{Hello. I noticed your blog and I was wondering, if I'm in the wrong here. I've been roleplaying with this person for two years on Twitter. It started off great. Their canon liked my OC, though they're villain/hero. We came up with great plots. But, down the road I decided to make my character single-ship rather than what they were, multi-ship, which I'm fine with of course, it just was no longer my interest. (cont)

(cont from previous anon). They responded 'Lol, I see that as instant ship :P' which is something they know I don't do, having read my bio. Long story short, they refused to write with me. Claiming 'I never replied to them anyway' . I just started to feel kinda funny about them later on. I liked their canon character portrayl, but...I dunno. I just no longer wished to be multi-ship. Their attitude changed completely, from nice to unfriendly and not understanding. Am I in the wrong?

If your question is "Am I in the wrong for deciding to become single ship", then no, you aren't.

I don't have many details here. I can only make educated guesses.

If you warned them that you were switching to single ship, then this case is pretty cut and dry.

It is however their choice, warning or no, to decide to stop writing with you if you are no longer willing to ship with them. It isn't right for them to presumably bully you/belittle for it, but it is within their right to make their decision on it.

Just as it is your own to be single/multi ship, etc.

It just sounds like a no-win situation, with them on the shitty side if they belittled you for it. Block, and move on.

This isn't a case of a problematic RPer, but more of a petty one. This is very mild drama.

Last anon here! Yeah it is somewhat of a really personal issue but the other part that really gets me is at no point did an admin step in to talk to us. Or even do anything to de escalate any public fights a specific memeber kept having with us. My partner would often speak out about their bubble rp and they would just guilt trip him for trying to talk about any issues within the rp. They also... just gossiped about everyone in a bad way. My partner has popped in on calls (discord) and overheard some nasty things said about himself. Our banning was also left with little to no explanation. It was so weird to be friends one moment, then piss off 1 member who we have tried to talked to ends up having everyone turn on us. Sorry if this is a bit messy there was a lot that happened in a short period of time it was hard to keep track. Lmk if this still doesn't belong here i definitely understand!!!

It sounds like a toxic group for sure, and it may be better off that you are "banned", so you can find a more healthy group to play with that is more willing to communicate instead of gossiping and kicking people out at random, or having admins/moderators who don't take any action.

While that is definitely a bad thing, the focus of this blog in particular is meant to be stronger issues, like roleplayers who are actively racist, homophobic, transphobic, or start witch hunts based on fictional preferences (antis), etc, as opposed to just generally sour people.

I'm not at all saying that your situation should just be glossed over, or that it isn't important or worthy of being discussed. It definitely is, it just isn't the primary content of this type of blog.

I joined an rp group with some old friends and at first everything was cool so I asked my partner to join. I have different screens but I also wanted to ask opinions ig? We started to open up about our mental status and on the vent channel ( in discord bc thats where everyone plotted ) said really personal things that were oversharing too much. The issue is that after a member stated uncomfortability I deleted the messeged. My partner apologized for his own behaviors which lead the memeber to cuss us both out. Shortly after we were both banned with barley any explanation. Did we deserve it? Thank u....

Keep in mind, with just this vague description, I cannot say whether or not you deserved it.

It sounds that you explained yourself and apologized. That may have not been enough for the other members. Or it may have been enough for them, but not the moderators.

In my purely personal opinion, and I'm not a professional by any means, you didn't deserve it, but I would avoid sharing personal information online, especially in public places like discord servers. Especially sensitive information like mental issues.

DMs with people you trust are a bit better, but you should still be careful.

This issue sounds complex and there is no concrete answer, even if you didn't mean to do any harm. Keep that in mind, but also please don't make a habit of oversharing.

I also don't think this kind of information is fitting for this blog, it sounds like a personal situation.

I was there for that fallout. If I recall, they had issues with what hannawolfcross was rping and sent people after them. Then hanna cut ties and then they said they swallowed pills. no one believed and then they threw a fit when someone did actually call a wellness check. So it's just sort of always been they hate what hanna rps

This is also something they mention in their original “warning” post, that they don’t like the content that Hannawolfcross was roleplaying, that they think the topics are taboo/shouldn’t be written.

There is a beautiful solution to not liking the content that someone roleplays: blocking and avoiding them.

We all have limits, even I have content that I do not like to read or engage with. I do the right thing and avoid the content instead of claiming people shouldn’t write it.

Hannawolfcross has deleted their blog. That said, this is not the first time that the person who made the warning blog ran someone off tumblr. There was some steampoweredgiraffe fan blog that they ran off too, claiming they stole the name/look that the person sent people after until they just up and left. The warningblog person just seems to enjoy running people off tumblr.

They’ve deleted it before more posts could be pulled grossly out of context. The warning blog states they “can’t get hard proof” now but that’s because none existed in the first place. 

They had plenty of time to pull any actual proof prior to making their “warning” blog, now they are angry an already shaky argument can’t be furthered.

Yes, I was within that circle of people around the time this originally happened. And the person who asked the question is right, they indeed threw a fit because someone happened to have a similar URL, to the point they bullied the person into deleting their blog. 

However, I will spare most of this because it falls under what is usually the case: mostly petty situations that don’t ultimately cause someone harm/aren’t the purpose of this blog. Being upset they don’t get their way in RP, etc. In the end it’s all small stuff, but it doesn’t quite surprise me that this person up and decided 8+ years later that it amounted to grooming. 

It is quite a common tactic with antis.

There is a blog called hannawolfcrosswarning that is posting mis-information about an RPer named HannaWolfCross. The proof against Hanna is little to nothing and it clearly intentionally vague. They're messaging people to not RP with this person- even though the blog is currently inactive anyway

The blog hannawolfcrosswarning falls under false accusations.

The owner of this blog is falsely accusing the owner of hannawolfcross of being a sexual predator. Not only are these accusations extremely old (+8 years supposedly was the events), but there are some other red flags.1) the style used in the screenshots is not the style that tumblr existed in 2012. Posts more than likely doctored.**Edit: post was not doctored, but taken grossly out of context.2) Blog explicitly mentions roleplaying fictional material as red flags. Fictional material is fictional and should not ever be conflated with actual grooming.3) If these accusations had any sort of truth and evidence and amounted to actual grooming, police should’ve been contacted, not making a blog on tumblr.com to ‘warn’ others.

TL;DR: this is fake. Please use common sense with “callout/warning” blogs like these that refuse to provide hard proof and use the internet as a platform instead of contacting proper authorities. This is a case of a friendship falling apart and the blog owner wanting “revenge” by labeling their enemy as a predator.

- Fictional role play is absolutely a factor in grooming, I’ve seen dangerous predators use it on people I know, it’s a Thing that happens. real life pedophiles use child porn to groom, it happens with fictional things too. Nothing is sacred when it comes to sick people like that, and spreading the information that it Never Ever happens is dangerous.

- When it was happening, I was a teenager in high school? I had no idea any of this was illegal in her state, or wrong at all, so of course the police weren’t involved. By the time I was old enough to realize, I was an adult. And, demanding a survivor contact the police in order to be believed about their story is a classic abuse/rape/ ect apologism tactic that literally everyone uses, even though they shouldn’t.

I’m talking about what happened, I’m airing my own dirty laundry (including the parts where I was a toxic person and hurt people), there is nothing to really gain here? reliving something that ruined my idea of relationships and left me with sexual trauma and nightmares for attention? just to be petty? it’s. a really ridiculous thing to accuse me of.

You don’t have to believe she’s a predator, or evil person. She had romantic intent with a teenager, that is a thing that happened, I’d be really shocked if she denied it. You can do what you want with that information, but it’s out there, and it needs to be.

So is factors like food, toys, promises of prizes, vacations, etc and so on. Literally anything could be a grooming tool used in the hands of a person who knows what they’re doing. The fault lies in the person, not the tool they used. Your own argument works against you and damages the already frail credibility of your story. The people who groom people using fiction do so intentionally, and it isn’t the fault of the fiction itself. You are leaning on a dangerous censorship argument that antis are very well known for, and antis also commonly accuse people of being predators over completely fictional material.

tbh pretty shitty blog that isnt reliable. whoever runs this let's their own personal feelings get in the way of calling out people who are actually dangerous and shitty. someone shows you proof that someone has behaved dangerously and you scream "fiction isn't reality actually". Hmm, perhaps you should learn that:

1) no real actual proof was provided of said grooming. Grooming is a real thing that exists and no such grooming was actually happening here. It has a real definition and this isn’t it. Do you remember what happens when you believe people who just say things? The original developer who created xkit is gone. That’s what happens. 

2) they made a tumblr blog instead of contacting authorities. Again, 8+  years after the fact. 

I personally know the person accused of this. And I also personally know that they aren’t guilty of such behavior. 

Put your effort into actual victims of grooming, not petty 8+ years old long drama over fictional roleplay by antis.

I’m afraid that would actually be directly against the point of this blog acting as a warning system. 

Your personal safety is more important, so it’s preferred to cut off all methods of contact from this person and avoiding them.

Because being gay is not a life style choice. It isn’t a lifestyle, period. It’s an innate sexuality that a person is born with. Just like your skin color is not a “life style”, it is a trait that you are born with and cannot change.

You can’t disagree with something that isn’t a choice and try to say you aren’t -phobic of it. 

Leaving a religion is NOT the same as coming out and being abandoned by your family. You have a choice in the matter of religion and you do not have a choice about being gay. 

Yes, there are probably some fanatic religious parents who would abandon their children if their children doesn’t agree with said religion, but religions are taught, not something you are born with.

I was more confused by the assumption the character was underage. Maybe in canon (I don’t know anything about JJBA), but the blog states in plain text the muse is 18+. This was just senseless libel.

Teenagers have sex, anyways. And while I’ll agree a very large age gap including an actual minor is terrible and should never be encouraged in real life, this is roleplay we are talking about. It is purely fictional. No real minors are getting hurt.

I'd like to warn regarding suozagara, who plays an underage character and participates in sexual content asks and threads. Though not openly roleplayed yet, their rules state that they are accepting mature contents.

Did you....miss this part...? 

Even if the muse was underage, there’s nothing illegal/problematic about having an underage character do sexual content.

This blog doesn’t condone the “purity” mentality. The content you roleplay is not indicative of what the players believe/support outside of the internet.

To the anonymous user contacting us about a toxic person, please provide proof of your claims. We are not and will never be a witch hunt blog. Anyone can claim anonymously that someone else harassed them.

How do you deal with rejection? Lately I've been talking to rpers asking them about them ideas and giving them my input and everything seems to be going great in the planning process and I offer to make the starter but then 3 weeks go by with no reply to my starter and I see them online all the time. When they finally do reply. I wait for a bit before replying. Then nearly a month later I ask if they even want to rp anymore and said there muse died for the thread. There wasn't even two replies!

This...really isn’t a blog to necessarily get RP advice, but I guess I can try to help. This may/may not be rejection, since the player did not tell you no straight away, but it often happens in RP communities it’s safer to give an indirect no or to ignore the person as saying no usually instigates arguing. 

How long are you waiting before replying to them?

Perhaps you should be a little more active in your own reply time? Again, I’m probably missing a ton of details here. 

I understand the frustration that comes with wanting a specific reply and watching the other person be online. It can happen even to the most patient people, and those who know it’s absolutely wrong to try to force one out of a person. It ruins the mood for roleplay. 

But keep in mind the person likely isn’t roleplaying to spite you, that’s just what they happen to be interesting. If their muse died, that is unfortunate, the best you can do is offer to brainstorm to perk up their own interest or offer another idea. An RP should ideally have mutual interest.
