-Sitting in an empty metro station at 4am after a late night akuma attack not bothering to go home cause work starts again in three hours. Just contemplating terrible life choices that won't change.

-Working out for hours on end until exhaustion, desperate to get the lost strength back.

-Juggling several jobs at the same company to cover for Gabriel not doing his job, Gabriel not hiring correctly, Gabriel giving her all the tasks just because he thinks she's good at them (which she is don't get me wrong, god forbid she disappoints anyone am I right), Gabriel...

-Overall being the only thing holding the company and family together, but kept in the dark for so long

-Her younger brother coming back to Paris after his studies and having a family being actually really healthy for him but also Nathalie whose like rediscovering the concept of family and love in a healthy setting for once and putting them before her job (which subsequently makes Gabriel really jealous, and the idiot finally starts actually noticing her importance and place in his and his son's life-who would have thought-)

-After Gabriel gives up being hawkmoth and all and starts trying to be a better father, he starts actually doing his job again and hiring people to do the stuff Nathalie's been doing extra all this time. Her then having actual weekends and evenings off work. Her then going to pick up her nephews at school but that's near Adrian's lycée and so she ends up being in "civilian" clothes in the vicinity of the agrestes. Adrian being like OMG Nathalie's cool and Gabriel being all aaaagehhshfetyerwfqfgqg

-Adrien taking his mother's genes again and being really fucking short, and then there's the contrast of stone cold 1m95 Nathalie and then bubbly happy 1m70 Adrian (idk why I find this really funny)

-Adrien being all giddy while announcing he's dating Marinette. Nathalie and Gabriel being the out of touch idiots they are being like : cool I guess, happy for you two, btw you wanna be in this ad campaign?

-When evil hawkmoth's gone and the Agrestes are left with a gaping hole in their beloved schedule they have nothing to do but follow Nathalie and/or Marinette around like the codependent oblivious idiots they are

-Nathalie and Gabriel just being the two tall, lanky looking, miserable freaks, with all the power at all the fashion conventions and galas. Everyone's slightly pitiful and half terrified of them. While they are inseparable because Gabriel gets lost in crowds and has separation anxiety in public places, they're both stone cold emotionless towards each other which really annoys journalists wanting to find a rumor to spread. Thanks to them being the autistic traumatised oblivious idiots they are, they manage to involuntarily avoid rumors and scandals

May I present you one of my all time favourite ships (and characters/stories):

Sigrid Von Meyer and Bruce Laine from the french comic series (or bande dessinée) Le Voyage Extraordinaire - by Filippi and Camboni.

It's a sci-fi fiction with 12 tomes (n° 12 just came out aaaaaaaaaaaggghhhhh). (Finished series) The vibes of it are insane

I know this is kinda niche but does anyone know this? Am I alone in my craze? Même vous chers amis francophones?

Sigrid and Bruce are both agents specialised in ancient technology. As Sigrid says, they're each other's alter ego. They're rivals because she's German and he's American but they end up working together when they both get stuck (with the main protagonists) on a mysterious deserted island and chaos ensues.

Both of their characters are really fun. While Bruce doesn't have much character development, Sigrid has more "screen time". It wouldn't surprise me if she was heavily based on Helga Sinclair from Atlantis cause she resembles her both physically and mentally quite a lot.

To my dismay they're secondary characters who don't get a lot of attention in the book and their arc gets cut short very quickly (I also found the way they made them evolve sad, but I have my own fanon and headcanons to cope - I mean who doesn't - )

But yeah they really made a series that I already loved for it's story telling, world building and illustrations come to life even more.

I'd really love to know if anyone has read this cause this is probably one of my favourite book/comic out there.

Pour mes amis français ou francophones dans le lot (oui oui baguette), je sais que la BD a eu un peu de succès mais je ne sais pas à quel point.

Even if I don't think it's translated I would really recommend getting it just for the art itself, the art style blows my mind and there isn't much text to translate anyway.
