found a signed book in my house that I used to be obsessed with when I was 13. I don’t even remember what happened in the book anymore, but I very clearly remember loving it, how much it meant to me (for personal reasons, I have very warm and wholesome memories with the author where he personally spent his time with me, chat with me, remembered me by name, called me by my name from the crowd and bought me lunch; we met several times actually, and every time he remembered my name without me having to reintroduce myself). and all the memories I have when I was 13 come flooding back.

I’m re-reading the book for the first time again, without knowing/remembering what happens in the next page. and suddenly I’m back to being 13 again.

if you can get a book still at a library or a general bookstore still even if it's labeled "ban book"

it's only "ban" because of public buildings not wanting it

but if you can still buy it with your own money and keep it

then it's NOT a ban book
