Why Rush Limbaugh, that's who!  Limbaugh recently ridiculed children who wrote to President Obama about the massacre at Newtown, where 20 first grade children were murdered along with 6 school personnel.  Limbaugh mimicked the sound of children crying and begging for their lives.  Click here to hear the audio at the StopRush database.

This lack of sensitivity for murder victims and their families is typical hate from the nation's most popular radio host.

Sponsor contact is working!

The StopRush Project has announced that over 2,200 sponsors have pulled ads from Limbaugh’s show, via documented messages/statements. Many other sponsors have left his show quietly, bringing the actual amount of sponsors who have left, to a higher, unknown total.

Daily Kos diaries, this Petition, FlushRush, The StopRush Project and numerous other activist groups, are causing an immense impact on the demise of Limbaugh’s hate-filled show. Many have asked, “How does Limbaugh stay afloat given the mass sponsor exodus?” This past weekend, it was leaked by Mother Jones, that FreedomWorks (now alleged to be backed by some of the SuperPac) has been picking up much of Rush’s slack from all the sponsors that have removed ads. There is currently an investigation underway, as to the legality, given FreedomWork’s nonprofit status.

Rush, you just don’t get to call Sandra Fluke, or any woman, a ‘slut’ and ‘prostitute’ on our public airways - and get away with it.

It’s time. This IS happening. Rush is going down. And we are all making it happen. Let’s keep the momentum going.
