⚓  stop-go ⚓

this is the one tourist trap that the locals won't back away from. serving homemade gelato and fresh coffee, stop-go's indoor seating is limited; instead, its customers are encouraged to sit outside in the sun-drenched expanse of benches and tables in front of the store. it stretches partially onto the beach, and its tables are somewhat communal. frankly, if you haven't stopped for dessert and a caffeine boost here, you simply haven't lived. along with the staple flavours such as vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, stop-go has a seasonal menu. this changes every quarter, and always carries a different theme. summer 2017's theme is power rangers. fancy a cherry-and-chocolate 'red ranger', a 'mighty morphin' mango', or a raspberry-and-mint 'rita repulsa'? knock yourself out. when it first opened, stop-go was plagued with scandal as it became known that a witch was behind the colourful and creative flavour infusions. over time, however, people's fondness for the taste won out over their bigotry. because of this, some locals credit stop-go with heavily contributing to local creature-human relations.

⚓ like magic ⚓

as a sanctuary town, mystic is known for its creature integration - and like magic is an obvious example of that. whether you approve of it or not, this apothecary and creature care store caters specifically to the local non-human population. primarily, the apothecary serves local witches, and it's a married couple of witches who actually opened the store. however, they soon found a real gap in the market for other products. wing care products for angels are pretty damn expensive online, but you can pick them up here. drying balm can be applied to the skin to help merpeople dry out in a jiffy. fire-retardent steering wheel covers provide an extra level of safety for especially irritable demon drivers. a line of creature pride pins and t-shirts has been selling well recently. of course, not everybody is open about their non-human status, and walking into this physical store would be quite a tell - so like magic also offers a no-judgement discreet mail order service for those who need it. in both ends of the business, things are booming. besides, it's nice to know there's a place you can run to for more immediate sanctuary if, say, some anti-creature human teenagers are chasing you home. if the windows were smashed tonight, it wouldn't be the first time - but frankie and nell know it's getting better, and they're happy to be a part of that.

here it is guys!! the preview of our shipper application, as you can see it’s pretty straight forward. it changes color depending on what member group your character belongs to! we’re so excited to be finishing up the site, and can’t wait to open for you all!!

the sloan to el’s shepherd, yeah (im trash for greys anatomy ok) basically these two have been through thick and thin, y’know, both seen some shit™ and done some shit. been friends since their early 20s, when el moved to nyc and was like “who’s this ny punk,” and they mostly just butt heads 24/7 through all the magnetism. bonus that el’s family pretty much adopted him, and let him gain some independence by working at their restaurant, instead of just relying on his trust fund. but that still wasn’t “good enough.” a lot is in the air for this request, other than i’d really like his prior occupation to be something medical, because it’d compliment the ass-saving he’s done for el over the course of the years. so if angsty ride-or-die friendships with polar opposites and not-so subtle slow burn undertones is your thing, keep reading? xo
