OPEN RP | Muse: Seren

Rain had been freshly poured from the sky, and though it ceased the residue of moisture still clung to the air. Seren was laying in a patch of downed grass, near the shade of a tree and brush. She had made something of a den out of sticks and the smallest hole she cared to make near the base of the tree.

Nestled right beside her, with it's small cries and skin-nipping little teeth on her hide, was a small hatchling that looked so similar to her own pattern. The only one to survive the batch of two. It's little chirps were soothing, and the wind rustled above them, wafting in the fresh kill she had brought to the nest for the young to take small bites of. All while he senses would be on high alert, whenever she wasn't distracted by the small one's playful nature.

The ocean was a vast world, one that many creatures had the pleasure of enjoying it’s never-ending waters, and the ones that felt they respected it the most were the ones with black fins. Orca were especially regarded with a history of the water, and seen from most all creatures that know as something to be both feared and also revered.

Though, they themselves would never grasp that much, except to know that most things tried to avoid them, were they not of their close relatives in species; Who, even then were always mightily wary.

Separating from a pack he had acquainted himself with, even integrated with on a more intimate levels with some of the female, a young male himself right in his prime; Koko was now exploring on his own. He drifted close to somewhere near the shallows of land, warmer waters for the better meals, and was currently busying himself with the hunt of plump seals.

Out of the water he crashed, onto bumpy and sandy land, over and over until he managed to catch one of the larger pups. From here on out it was time to play with his meal, until he was ready for another go at the shores.

Space had been cold, more frigid than any temperature that could exist, and hotter than any sun or star that burned the brightest. He was of a species, if not the species itself, that could survive all and anything that marred it’s flesh, or every cell. Yet, as all thought had been seemingly put on hold, bones and sinew practically disintegrated by the monster that called itself ‘King’. What a joke of a title for something so low, he last recalled thinking, past the emotion and irrational senses of unbridled fear that his life was coming to an abrupt, and fiery end.

Still, this would not be his last, nor would he remain gone from the stars for long. As with all things, his life-force roamed, and survived past the threads of flesh. He was not of this world, and they would see to it that he’d come back, as always was promised. Other memories, one’s that were so faint, of fists and fur. Of scales and atomic breath. Pain. Then, again his senses were lost to the endless void.

Slowly, his mind was coming back to itself, as body once more found itself, regaining consciousness at an even pace, and it was the center head, Ichi, that came around. The other two were still reforming, just the base of their necks peeking from the bulk of flesh that was their chest, and the rest of itself was still half, or partially there healing. Ichi looked to the left, then the right, slowly gauging where he was. The location was somewhere deep, somewhere warm. It made no sense to him, but he would rest as much as he could. That need to protect itself was not there, not yet.
