okay i took notes on the rolled for 1&2:
the "binding of isaac" was not actually intentional and condi pointed it out after the fact. bizly had condi and milo roll a d100 to see whos dad was dead, which. doesnt really matter anymore does it. bizly also said, explicitly and word for word, "it happened to you this time because it happened to you last time", which i feel like has a lot to say about the cyclic nature of abuse and how survivors often find themselves back in similar situations. idk, i think its interesting.
UPP1 was written in 45 minutes. thats kinda nuts, especially since it set such a good foundation for UPP2. UPP introduced the corner store (supplies), the hospital (healing with an escape mechanic), the police (consequences for being seen doing supernatural things), the culture of deadwood, and each of the upplings familial situations including lui, who wasnt even there yet. this is without mentioning establishing lore locations for 2/4 upplings (norah-river, isaac-church)
ms wisp assumed isaac and his dad went on a trip (ie camping) in order to force their relationship to get better. also, condi has a good dad irl. nuts.
norah almost cracked when dealing with bella. milo said it was a reaction of "youre doing something i would never do, and youre gonna die," which is interesting. i wonder if theres an element of jealousy and resentment from her.
lui and william relationship insights: for a brief second, charlie as william though lui was dead. lui had stayed up the night before upp2.1 researching lycanthropy, so he could help william with the 2 wolves inside him. also- lui had a 95 in occult and canonically knew 90% of all eldritch knowledge????? girl.
at some point, grizzly said very deadpan "is it possible to win." no, grizzly. not for you. 😐
