people will describe their incredibly nebulous sexuality to you that they’ve never been able to define and the whole time you’re thinking that sounds like bisexuality brother
#it took me rougly 15 years of varying self-identifiers to arrive at just calling myself bisexual#and i do think it is everything to do with internalized biphobia#i came out in the mid 2000s#and back then the sentiment still largely was#you're either straight or gay and ppl calling themselves bisexual are just straight women that make with a female friend occasionally#for male attention#then as i got older during my later university days#the sentiment that bisexuality was exclusive and in order to be the correct type of attracted to more than one gender#was to use one of the every expanding pallette of micro labels#that mostly boil down to “bisexual but addressing an issue with bisexuality that i made up in my own mind”
