What their congregation doesn’t know, is that they have a dark past, and now, it’s coming back to haunt them.

Will Ben and Armitage make it out of the dark valley they must now walk, or will they fall victim to the shadow of death?

Guys.

I had the weirdest dream.

It involved Adam Driver.

And no, before your mind goes to the gutter, it was a rather sweet dream.

I’m going to go into detail.

We were sitting in a glade interspersed with wildflowers, he was sitting on the ground, his back against a bench (yes, a bench in the middle of nowhere) and I was sitting beside him, in the lotus position, facing his side.

He was drawing on a sketchpad he had on his raised leg, and I think we were discussing emotions and stress in work, I can’t really remember.

After, he tore the sheet of paper he had been drawing on and gave it to me. It was a well done sketch of a tree with flowers next to it, or flowers with a shaded background, I can’t remember.

And that was the dream.

Weird.

But good.

absolutely flabbergasting to see people who have so enthusiastically succumbed to despair. like okay denethor, but some of us are gonna actually face the armies of mordor in battle nonetheless.

The thing about Denethor is that he not only succumbed to despair, he wanted to ensure that Faramir succumbed with him. Similarly, a lot of people now are not only succumbing to despair, they're actively proselytizing despair, trying to convince others to join them in their hopelessness. Despair is apparently lonely and they want company in their self-immolation.

btw denethor succumbed to despair bc he was doomscrolling on the palantir. Sauron tweaked his algorithm so he only saw bad news, and he fell into the trap of thinking the world couldn't be saved.

a lot of pieces of media will show characters catching fireflies with just their bare hands. in some cases they will just land on the persons fingers. to gently be placed inside of a jar..

for people who live in areas who don’t have fireflies, i want you to know that is not made up or exaggerated for those scenes. fireflies are really like that. they are slow and not cautious at all. while camping i would just walk up to one flying in the air and grab it. and it would sit on my hands like “oh ok.” they are my friends.

also i think it’s funny when fireflies are portrayed as round light bulb-ish shapes. they are skinny.

also their butts are yellow even when not lit up. they’re not just all black until suddenly lighting up yellow! they always got little yellow asses!
