when u think about it it’s kind of evil of acnh to have furniture items be available in ONE color on your island and if you would ever want another color instead of getting it customized like in new leaf you have to buy a nintendo membership on top of the price of the game and console just so you can share with people online who have the same item but in a different color. like, why even offer the customize kits if you can only customize diys and a small number of regular furniture? why do people have to trade with randos online just for a different colored chair?

I’ve had a similar problem with videogames before, sometimes it works out if you can re-sell the game or the system to ur local used videogame scene •<• like maybe ebay??

thank you for the suggestion!! ^__^ my gf and i have definitely sold games to local shops before (had to last week! ugh) but it’s always done out of necessity, like. as an absolute last resort. so unless we really really really need the money and have no other options, i’m going to hold onto new horizons, even if i don’t like it. and i’m still attached to one villager of mine—kody the bear cub!—and i’d find it strangely depressing to let him go lol

it’s august and i haven’t picked up my switch since may lol.....with the return of cooler weather i’ve been considering playing ac again but like. the game just feels empty to me. maybe it’s uhh... too easy? too perfect? bereft of personality even? idk :(
