VAMPS FREE TALK (1)

All right, we all know VAMPS got in trouble recently and maybe in trouble for a long long time, long enough for someone born in 1969 and a former heavy-smoker.

I do not dare to say I know everything about disbanding but I still know a little. First, I think the shutdown of VAMPS was sudden; I mean it did not happen after long and careful deliberation.From my perspective, they did not express something like recent ROCKING ON magazine interview done around October-November 2017 if they actually recognized the shutdown as the first choice of solving the problems of VAMPS. 

On the other hand, others in rock music scene, including hyde’s juniors ( e.g. Halloween party regular cast) and persons concerned( e.g.  Mr. Oishi) had TOO lukewarm attitude toward VAMPS’ “trouble” as far as I was concerned. Maybe I am sensitive but I do not think it is the sign of desperate and planned disbanding.

My dad is somewhat a hater of Bob Dylan. He always casually describes him as a not-so-good-looking kid and not-so-good vocalist, and told me these when I was too young to distinguish these.

I finally know that my dad unconsciously criticized Bob Dylan because he is fan of Joan Baez. LOL.

【A confession of hardcore visual-kei fan】

I often tell others:  Feminine guys in heavy makeup who I have seen, are more than bitches in heavy makeup who others have seen. So I feel easy for feminine guys in heavy make up with their ridiculous gestures!"

I am a visual-kei fan since I was 14-15 y/o. So you can imagine everything I concerned. Weird hair colors, heavy makeup, long velvet dresses and flamboyant perfomance. Fashionably feminine was popular in this scene so I merely thought it was wrong or abnormal.

However, I should confess something which I fear:

I, a hardcore visual-kei fan, were afraid of hyde in Heavenly Flims!

It’s too sissy girly to see for teenage me OMG. I was always difficult with watching Heavenly Flims completely before my late 20-something...Yes this hyde is lovely but I cannot take it.

Now I think Heavenly hyde is...manlier than nowadays hyde. Idkw.

So I would like to go time-traveling to 19 yrs ago, then tell teenage me: Don’t nag at Heavenly hyde you will see more ridiculous things about him 10 years later. Sigh.
