“Love, Peace, Unity,” “Food 4 The Community @ St Peters 2:30.” Peace signs, hearts, and Freddie Gray. This is what you’ll see at the CVS on Penn and North. It’s not a site of violence and destruction, but one of love and resistance.

For Rent Shoes was destroyed on Monday evening, along with many other stores in the neighborhood. Baltimore Love Project artist, Michael Owen, stopped by and stenciled his tag in support.

My friend Jérémie Fontana captured this shot of my good arm holding up a sign for Freddie, when we arrived at the Union Square Rally. The NY Justice league handed out signs for us to hold and hand out to others. I was delighted to have people coming up to me asking for them. The solidarity was beautiful. It was beautiful and emotional to reunite with the league too. Also in this shot, Mickey Ferrara and Paul S John from the NY Justice League.
