The treadmill was occupied so wasn't able to do my normal slow steady cardio to start the day. Rather than sit around and waiting I decided to do something I always hated doing, the rower. Did 10 rounds of intervals of 60 sec max effort followed by 60 seconds rest. Throughout the workout I realized that I never used to do slow steady cardio when I was a professional competitor. As a matter of fact, I did no cardio. Instead I treated my resistance training like a HIIT workout.
