I just saw someone with “pro/com/dark/antishipper” in their DNI and it made me so unbelievably pissed off. Like clearly this is someone who has no fucking clue what those words even mean and is just repeating words they’ve heard. Trying to find people who dislike the writing in TADC and people who hate Jax, but everyone with great opinions about it is usually anti-profic/antiship. Which fucking sucks

I personally am profic and proship, and I am all for fictional media that romanticizes abusive dynamics because what people like in fiction doesn’t always translate to what they like in reality.

I am also a chronic hater and make lots of posts about hating characters and ships, but I still know everyone has the right to ship what they want.

But almost all the other Jax haters are antiship and they seem to think the show is bad because it enables Jax’s abusive patterns.

I don’t think the show is bad because it dismisses abusive behavior, it doesn’t matter. I don’t care about that.

I think the show is badly written because literally none of the characters are fully fleshed out other than Jax. It became the Jax show with no warning, just... all attention for Jax!

Idk. I try to just stay out of the fandom entirely now lmao

Im writing a fic where one of my favorite characters is sexually assaulted and it makes me feel bad. I always wanted to read a fic where this scenario happens, but I couldn't find any. So naturally, I begin to write one myself.

I always take breaks as to keep myself healthy, but sometimes I feel like I have no right to write something like this. I feel like its inaccurate or stupid or out of character.

The SA is apart of a much larger story and i find myself very attached to this fic. I do not want to remove it. At the end of the day, i will keep writing. This is just a small confession/rant/vent (?)
