I think my favorite dynamic is best friends who are obviously in love, but they’re same sex and while one is interested, the other is very decidedly straight. But it’s okay because in another universe, where things are just slightly different, it worked out, and they’re old and married and a bit of that reflects and refracts back on the current iteration. And it’s not tragic at all; it’s beautiful.

The thing that upsets me the most about Pillion is that Ray left without removing the collar. Like. He abandoned Colin without ever relinquishing his claim on him. He probably still wears the key with no intent on coming back. Or maybe the intent was there, he just never mustered the follow through.
