Not that old, but here's Ichika!! Wanted to color her properly to 1. show her colored hair and 2. for something else I might do in the future (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ.ﾟ
Mizuan friendship (๑>◡<๑) As I've said before, Mizuki and An are still good friends in this AU, they hang out pretty regularly and try to look out for each other. But ofc bc they both keep some things to themselves, the extent of real support able to be offered is limited. The sentiment is definitely appreciated from both sides tho
...lowkey angst jumpscare but it was gonna come eventually okay. While Rui definitely enjoys working with ColorfulxHeart!, he does have his own reservations and a dream he's trying to leave behind. He's not being entirely honest/open with not only the girls, but also himself. A weird feeling comes to him whenever he sees them sparkle on stage, and he tries very hard to not to think about it too much.

I find it pretty funny how basically the entire Tenma Extended Universe ((Toya & Mafuyu are found family)) are all in PEG☆SUS except for Saki. I wonder how one could've guessed Saki is P☆ biggest fan
I thought it'd be fun to do an intro on how the names of the units came to be in-universe! Enjoy (ᵔᗜᵔ)☆
✧ Phoenix ✧
As silly as it is...the name itself actually first came from Phoenix Wonderland.
Kohane and Shiho both are deeply/personally connected to Phoenix Wonderland, and its mascot Phenny. It also became an important place to Minori after the three of them became good friends, almost symbolic to their friendship in a way
Although initially suggested because of Phoenix Wonderland, there's also the deeper meaning of phoenix symbolising rebirth and new life after getting burnt into ashes, which is the real reason the name got adopted in the end
Mizuki thinks that's nice.
✧ ColorfulxHeart! ✧
They wanted to go for a more energy-filled sounding name, filled with newfound determination
"Colorful" came from Ena's background in art, and them being determined to paint colors into people's (including their own!) lives
"Heart" represents their hearts, of course, so that they would never forget their dream again. (Bonus: 「初心」 means "original intention"/"heart in the beginning" in Chinese/Japanese, and 「心」 is "heart", so I think that's neat)
"Heart" is also a reminder to live on, as long as their heart beats on, there's a way to be found, even if it's hard, even if it hurts.
Having a colorful heart is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
✧ SunRISE SQUAD ✧
Kind of like Vivid BAD SQUAD, it came from combining the two original duos' names!
Ichisaki were "Sunbeams" and Akiharu were "RISING"
"Sunbeams" came from the ideas of the sun peeking out from clouds after a storm, a promise to chase after a happier future
Akiharu both, at some points of their lives, felt as though they hit rock bottom and were never coming back up. "RISING" represents their unwavering determination to go on, a promise to lift each other up to rise up again and again, higher and higher.
Perhaps even...a hint of spite? Anger? Bitterness?
"SunRISE" kind of combines both of these ideals in a way. A new dawn breaking, light flooding in and chasing away the cold night. Going into a new day and moving forward.
✧ PEG☆SUS ✧
Pegasus. Yeah we all know who named this one.
Toya genuinely thinks this is a nice name because Tsukasa named it, Emu appreciates it as well and thinks it has a nice energy, Mafuyu honestly did not care much at the time. So!! PEGASUS it is
The star is to add more flair to the name, and there's a sentiment for the star--right in the middle--being a guiding star, looking over them and pointing them towards the right way
And, of course, bc Tsukasa is a “world future star” lol
Although a bit silly, it does mirror the ideal of the unit itself, having almost an air of childlike wonder to it. It's a place to escape to, to have fun, to feel safe.
✧ AQU1LA ✧
Honami named them, actually.
Aquila is a constellation on the celestial equator. She has always loved stars.
Although she hasn’t shared this with the rest of AQU1LA yet, it reminds her of her memories with Leo/need and the simpler, happier past in her childhood
The idea of “reaching the stars” holds a different meaning to each member of the group, but the sentiment is shared collectively by all of them.
「 1 」 refers to their usual operation time, which is 1 a.m.
rough designs of the mikus in each sekai!! I lowkey only truly like how Live house Miku (Phoenix) and maybe Meadow Miku (AQ1) turned out but that's okay, they get the ideas across (I hope) 🩵

Ichika and Saki passes by an empty classroom and sees a familiar face.
Leo/need doesn't exist, but the feelings still linger between the four childhood friends.

Ichika watches as Saki’s eyes get hooked on the head of gray hair in the empty classroom as they pass by. She herself could not resist staring at Shiho’s face.
Every inch of that face, every slight expression, every detail—they are familiar, etched into Ichika’s memory, echoes of a past spent together.
And yet, at the same time, they are nothing more than strangers.
When did she get that piercing on her right ear? That Phenny keychain is new, when did she get that? Who is that pink-haired girl she’s talking to? Are they good friends?
Despite their slowed footsteps, they inevitably walk past the classroom, and the view of Shiho is replaced by the wall. Ichika watches as Saki tears her eyes away and forces a smile onto her face.
“Icchan, I’m hungry~ Let’s go get lunch before meeting up with the others!” Saki stretches and yawns exaggeratedly. Her movements are stiff. Clearly, lunch is the last thing on her mind.
“Sure, I’m a little hungry too…we could get ramen?”
Thoughts left unsaid hung in the air between them heavily. Saki smiles, reaches for Ichika’s hand, and they walk out of the school, together, alone.
Regret is not a foreign feeling to Ichika.
She thinks of Honami, with her dodging eyes and her shaking hands. She thinks of Shiho, with her stony expression and knuckles that are white from gripping the handle of her bass case too hard. She thinks of Saki, her bright eager eyes dimming with disappointment. She thinks of herself, too weak to keep them together and too helpless to reach out.
She feels Saki’s hand in hers, and squeezes. Saki intertwines their fingers together.
Let’s stay together forever.

Shiho and Honami have their own thing going on that Ichisaki are mostly unaware of btw!!
I love Leo/need and it hurts to separate them, but that's basically the premise of a unit shuffle AU 💔💔
They never quite get back together, but they'll at least get closure by the end of the story + start rekindling their friendship, I’d say
Akito is grumpy and friendless, the only one he can really tolerate is Toya but he doesn't have much intention to get too close seeing how close he is to Tsukasa. He comes around later, don't worry.
Even though they don't really know each other, Rui does appreciate Tsukasa and goes to watch his shows sometimes. Mizuki and An are good friends like in canon.
Akito and An's relationship is extremely rocky, they don't like each other at all and can't hold a civil conversation.
Since the results of the poll says to go for it, here're some lim hairstyle concept doodles I did the other day. I was originally gonna do the whole cast, but ran out of energy 💔
some notes:
➤ Toya's is actually based on a couple of classical musicians' hairstyles. It's for a key story Toya focus mixed event with Toya, Kanade, and PEG☆SUS Rin 4*s, Saki 3* and Mafuyu 2*
➤ Minori's is supposed to be from an idol-esque hakolim set, either her probably her 3rd-ish key story unit focus btw, so envision that if you will.
➤ Ichika's I imagine is from a Saki focus hakolim. Saki, Ichika, Akito 4*s, Haruka 3* and SunRISE KAITO 2*
➤ The others I haven't got a solid idea for an event they originate from yet. The only other notes I have are Tsukasa's is from a hakolim and An's is from a mixed.
➤ I know Nene ponytail is low hanging fruit but she deserves to have a ponytail
➤ SO SORRY these are so ugly. I barely spent any effort but I hope it conveyed the vision clear enough at least.

Haruka runs into a familiar face after taking a detour on her morning jog.
Haruka & An bump into each other after falling out years ago ; a peer into their relationship at the beginning of the story.

Haruka puffs up her face as she breathes out against the crisp morning air, zipping up her hoodie as she keeps up her jog. Vivid Street usually isn’t part of her morning jog route, but there is a particular CD she wants being restocked today, and she decides to go early before it’s sold out again.
She turns a corner, tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear. Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, almost there—
All too suddenly, she comes face to face with an all-too familiar face, one she doesn’t ever want to see again, one that’s still too beautiful despite Haruka having long since sworn to hate it. She skids to a stop, hand over her chest to stop her pounding heart.
She’s distinctly irritated by how easily just the sight of her can drag such a reaction out of her. The ache that shoots through her heart is sharp, as though it’d never dulled even after all these years.
When she finally tears her eyes up to see that face again, she’s met with a shocked expression that probably mirrors her own. Neither of them have expected to see the other, of course, and given the pains they had gone to trying to avoid each other over the years, neither of them wants to.
Haruka wins the race to twist her face back to an expression that hopefully looks neutral enough. “What are you doing here?” she grits out, voice so strained even she is taken aback. So much for sounding nonchalant.
She watches as An wrestles with her expression for a few minutes. She eventually settles on one with furrowed brows and crossed arms.
“I live here,” she deadpans. Haruka feels a prickle of annoyance at the words.
Do you? Do you really? You come back here every night to sleep, but you don’t live here.
You may have a house here, but it’s my home, not yours.
Haruka pushes back the instinct to wince at her own internal harsh words. She’s said worse. Don’t feel bad.
You lose to her if you do.
Because that’s how it is, isn’t it? Everything is a competition between them. It was like that at the peak of their relationship, and it’s like that now, at rock bottom. All they know is how to wage war against each other.
“Right,” she says back, in the same monotone voice. The two stare at each other, neither willing to back down. Two generals on opposite sides of the battlefield.
Haruka opts to take the opportunity to give An a once-over. It’s been a while since they’ve seen each other. Her hair, once long and dipped in the blue she loved so much, has been cut short. Her amber eyes, once as dazzling as the sunset, have dulled. There are shadows under her eyes, barely concealed with a clearly half-assed layer of make-up.
At least put some effort into looking okay, Haruka thinks.
“You still love staring as much as back then, huh?” An starts, and Haruka stills as she catches a genuine flash of irritation in the other girl’s voice. She inhales, willing her spiking heart rate to settle down.
“...And you’re still a mess. Looks like neither of us have changed.”
An physically flinches at the words. Haruka burrows her hands deep into her pockets. The victor of this round has been decided.
There is dark fury pooling beneath An’s eyes like a brewing storm. Her defensive stance reminds Haruka of a bristling animal. Haruka stands in front of her, totally calm and collected and not hiding her shaking hands in her pockets.
An pushes past her suddenly, catching Haruka off guard. She stumbles, and when she looks back up, An is already gone.

✧ Meadow SEKAI ✧
This SEKAI seems to be an endless meadow, stuck in eternal daytime. Though undeniably beautiful, it is rather filled with an inexplicable sense of loss and melancholy.
The oldest residents of the SEKAI say that the night sky used to be filled with mesmerizing stars, but any signs of nighttime has long since vanished. In the centre of the SEKAI is a huge tree. Other than that, the SEKAI feels rather empty.
✧ Vocaloids of the SEKAI ✧
HATSUNE MIKU
The Miku of Meadow SEKAI is quiet and observant, not speaking unless necessary, but when she does, she always know what to say to coax out the best reaction.
She can often be found sitting under the tree, seemingly enjoying the soft breeze combing through her hair.
She is extremely patient and can be trusted with any secret. Nene particularly enjoys her company.
KAGAMINE RIN
Rin is extremely quick to anger. Even when she appears calm, there always seems to be bitterness pulsing within her. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, and knows how to hit where it hurts.
When she lashes out, no one except Miku is willing to stay. As a result, they spend a lot of time together. If one is digs beneath Rin's prickly exterior, it's obvious she cares.
She is often caught staring at An with an unreadable expression. An avoids her as much as possible.
KAGAMINE LEN
Len is always anxious and rarely, if ever, talks. He is terrified of almost everything and does not react well to anger.
Apparently, he and Rin used to be close, but now Rin would not even spare a glance in Len's direction, often leaving him wringing his hands and staring longingly in the distance.
He clings to Honami when she is around, and likes to hide behind her. Honami, in turn, dotes on him. Rin would scoff at the sight.
MEGURINE LUKA
Luka is a carefree spirit who simply wants to live in the present, appearing to be uncaring and airheaded, a dreamer with unlimited creativity. No one knows what she's thinking most of the time.
She is always wandering the vastness of the meadow. Despite being much more approachable than most of the other virtual singers, she is by nature a loner and cannot be found unless she wants to be.
She misses the night sky, according to Miku.
MEIKO
MEIKO is stoic, her expressions rarely changing. She can often be seen picking flowers, and after An had taught her how to weave with plants, she'd never stopped doing so.
Though she tends to ignore anyone attempting to interact with her, she doesn't seem to mind company, and can be quite a grounding presence to ramble to or work in silence with.
Len hangs around her, if only to feel a little less lonely. His clothes and hair have since then become adorned with a variety of flowers and accessories, evidently MEIKO's work.
Kanade sometimes brings her laptop to work with MEIKO, saying she helps her focus.
KAITO
KAITO's warm smile hardly ever drops. He is very sociable and likes to crack jokes, though whether they land is usually a hit or miss, especially because he has a rather tough crowd.
Luka seems to enjoy his company the most out of all the vocaloids, though, and if chatter is heard within the SEKAI, it's usually these two and sometimes An, when she comes to the SEKAI.

✧ Aquarium Park SEKAI ✧
This SEKAI is a aquarium-themed park. The main indoors area is a quiet aquarium, surrounded by a variety of aquatic creatures swimming peacefully behind glass. This area is quite dark, illuminated by dim blue lights.
This SEKAI is always in nighttime, but it is never dark outside of the aquarium, as the SEKAI resembles a giant theme park lit up with bright lights of all colors and shapes. There are other amusement rides typically seen in theme parks present, such as a merry-go-round, a roller coaster, and a ferris wheel on the horizons that is always visible but out of reach.
✧ Vocaloids of the SEKAI ✧
HATSUNE MIKU
The Miku of Aquarium Park SEKAI is an eccentric person, often bursting with energy and always there to lighten up the mood. She is a very athletic person and has a tendency to do weird and dangerous things completely spontaneously.
Although these moments are rare, Miku can be a very serious person if she wants to be.
KAGAMINE RIN
Rin is a childish virtual singer, often bursting into tears at something most would consider a small deal or throwing a tantrum. Either way, she isn't afraid to express her emotions, or perhaps, it's that she is unable to keep it suppressed.
She is quite naïve and wears her heart on her sleeve, saying what comes to mind like a young child. There are many things she doesn't understand, but as some would say — ignorance is bliss.
KAGAMINE LEN
Len is rather shy, often restless and fidgeting. While both Kagamines shows mannerisms of young children, Len is much more reserved than Rin. While Rin would yell and whine when crying, Len would only cry in silence.
Rin is much more carefree and oblivious than him, but also more energetic and headstrong. As a result, he often gets dragged around helplessly and pulled into trouble.
However, no one can ever stay mad at him for long, especially once he inevitably starts crying. As Miku would say, Len looks rather like a 'sopping wet kitten', an effective strategy when it comes to plucking at the heartstrings of those around him.
MEGURINE LUKA
If the Kagamines are the childish youngest siblings, then Luka would be the indulgent, fun older sister.
She often spends time around the Kagamines, taking the effort to bond and play with them, much to their delight. The two admire her very much, and she knows it. To keep it up, she's always on the move to learn new things to impress them with and find new places to take them to.
Luka also has a mischievous streak, which MEIKO and KAITO note have been rubbing off of Rin a little, unfortunately for the more responsible two.
MEIKO
MEIKO is usually the stern one in the SEKAI, always having to tell off one or the other, but everyone knows she is actually very loving and is just forced to keep up the tough act because she is possibly the only actually responsible virtual singer that resides in the SEKAI — other than KAITO, but he is way too much of a softie to seriously scold anyone.
KAITO
KAITO takes it upon himself to be the older brother of the group, wanting to protect and take care of everyone, to the point that he is willing to overlook his own problems. He prioritises the younger ones a lot and cannot stand seeing them upset.
In fact, after MEIKO scolds or grounds one of them, he usually can't help but sneak them out and play with them, if just to see them smile again.
However, this sometimes results in he himself also ending up being told off. However, secretly, he thinks it's worth it because Rin and Luka would usually find this funny, and even Len might crack a small smile.

✧ Seaside SEKAI ✧
This SEKAI is a vast beach that stretches into the horizon. The waves lap against the shore, a soothing melody to those that reside here. There are a few beach houses along the shoreline for the residents of this SEKAI. If one wanders far enough, there is a cliff, suitable for a thrilling dive or simply for enjoying the view.
The sunrise is a mesmerizing sight, the midday sun reflected on the ocean is striking, and the night sky brims with beautiful stars, a testament to the dreams of the owners of the Seaside SEKAI.
✧ Vocaloids of the SEKAI ✧
HATSUNE MIKU
The Miku of Seaside SEKAI is straightforward, always exerting a 'cool' aura and doesn't like to partake in nonsense. However, she seems to have a particular soft spot for Saki, Ichika, and the Kagamines, a fact Akito regularly complains about.
She is good at acting and can guard a secret extremely well, which can be frustrating at times.
She has a strong sense of individualism and justice, and never takes things lying down. It is very difficult to convince her to stray from a path she's decided on.
KAGAMINE RIN
Rin is a bubbly girl who has a tendency for mischief. She loves to have fun, sometimes even forgetting about practice in favor of spending time messing around.
However, it is obvious that she loves singing very much, and treasures time with her partner, Len, very much.
She bickers with Akito often, and are self-proclaimed "besties" with Saki.
KAGAMINE LEN
Len is, for the lack of a better description, kind of a nerd. He enjoys a good book, and loves music theory and learning about all sorts of things from the world outside the SEKAI.
He is very polite and a little reserved, but is undoubtedly kind-hearted. He tries his very best to help in any way he can.
It's clear he's very hardworking, wanting to be taken seriously.
MEGURINE LUKA
Luka is a melancholic soul, often choosing to keep to herself and disappearing on 'solo adventures'. She provides comfort when needed, but is rather guarded about her own feelings and thoughts.
She can sometimes be found sitting on the edge of the cliff in the SEKAI, observing the view and off in her own head. When she does hang out with the rest of the virtual singers, she lets Rin drag her around.
Though rare, her genuine smiles are sought after, for they convey a sense of soothing warmth unable to be replicated.
MEIKO
MEIKO is a doting figure, often acting as the mother of the group. Although undeniably reliable, she seems to always have an air of anxiety about her, and can sometimes come across as overbearing despite truly always meaning the best.
She is quite bothered by this, and is bad at hiding it. Thus, even though she intends to be the comforter, she often ends up being the reassured instead.
KAITO
KAITO is a stark contrast to the rest of the virtual singers. He is always brooding, sulking, or some other synonymous verbs. The point is, he is very prickly and hard to please.
He often stands a distance away from the main group, observing in silence. Most try to ignore his unpleasant presence, and it seems as though he prefers it this way as well.

✧ Castle SEKAI ✧
Castle SEKAI is exactly what it says on the tin — a giant castle. While on the outside it appears like a classic medieval castle, the inside of the castle is very colorful and changes constantly, creating a very fantastical and dreamy atmosphere.
The castle is in the middle of a lake and has a garden. The sky of the SEKAI seems to be rippling, sometimes changing in hues, sometimes splashed suddenly with color, as though it is a canvas.

Rin is an amazingly hard worker, often practising for hours on end without stopping. She is also very stubborn, and it is almost impossible to convince the virtual singer to quit something when she sets her mind onto it.
Anyone who meets Rin can attest to her burning passion and fierce determination.
KAGAMINE LEN
Len is rather a perfectionist, bursting with brilliant ideas. However, he struggles with turning his ideas into reality, as he does not accept anything less than absolute perfection.
As a result, he often gets very frustrated by his failed visions. He is very strict with himself and others, and can get bad tunnel vision.
He always acts with a plan in mind. He particularly admires Rui, fascinated by his creations.
MEGURINE LUKA
Luka is effortlessly talented, often nailing dance moves on the first try. She appears to be perfect — always knowing what to say and what to do.
As a result, she is very admired amongst the residents of the SEKAI, and often the one they go to seek advice from.
However, Luka always seems to keep a distance emotionally from the other residents of the SEKAI...
MEIKO
MEIKO is a very bold and adventurous person, always finding a way to catch others off guard. She tends to act spontaneously, much to Len's disdain.
She also experiences mood swings, and can go from booming with excitement to lashing out in anger. MEIKO is like a fireworks show, Miku has once said.
KAITO
KAITO is calculating and always calm and collected, a stark contrast to MEIKO's hot-headedness.
He is very reliable, and is a older brother figure to many. He gives out great practical advice, often the one the others turn to when they have troubles.
