Pronouns and neos across languages
Uhhhhh so yeah we know a shit ton of languages though we're only fully fluent in like 3-4ish we just study the rest sometimes... but we realized we never actually know what pronouns I prefer in other languages unlike english were we already use neutral and neopronouns.
Other multilinguals or natives of any of these languages pls correct us or smth if I got any pronoun sets wrong I'm like 80% sure we made mistake(s) throwing this togther quickly
It was fun to go through and see how we just refuse to be constant with our pronouns lol.
Anyways.............................................................................................
English (gender neutral with neopronouns and xenogenders): they/them, xem/xyr/xyrs/xyrself, it/its/itself, we/us/ours, star/stars/starself, ey/em/eir/eirs/emself, bite/bites/biteself
Français (any, gender neutral preferred, + neos): iel/ellui, ael/aels, illes — Neutral stressed+disjunctive pronouns: (singular:) ellui, iel, luel, luiel, soi (plural:) elleux, euxelles, euxes, iels. no issue with elle or il when speaking french though. For iel: subject: iel stressed: ellui object: le/lae/li ossessive adjective: son/sa/ses or innovative forms reflexive: se)
Walon: lel, iel, ol, yel (possessive: so/ses) (reflexive: si)
Nederlands (neutral + neos): die/hen/hun/henzelf, ze/zich/zichzelf, een, xie/xem/xyr/xemzelf

how to make a mini library of alexandria (on a laptop) and actually use it: short guide
So what do I mean by this
Basically
Read a lot. Learn a lot by reading a lot
Knowing where to read a lot, have variety ykwim
Be smart but the chaotic academic way
In this age, it is very important to educate yourself if the world won’t do it for you
WHERE TO FIND INFORMATION
First, how do you find places to lurk in and gain info from (for books):
Where to find recommendations : literally anywhere but my favorite place is pinterest
Read for free: onlinereadfreenovel.com , novel80.com,
Download for free : OceanofPDF , Planet eBook, d-pdf.com, pdfdrive.com, even pinterest (I once found the entire cruel prince series and the heroes of olympus series on it)
Yeah a library is a place of books, but most importantly, it's a hub of knowledge . Some places where you can learn a lot of include: articles, channels, interviews, websites, audiobooks, aka the media
HOW TO LEARN AND INTERACT WITH THIS INFO
How to force yourself to learn it in the first place: Have the page up and let it sit there on an interesting page (or article or point of the movie) so that when you remember and glance at it you’ll want to read or know more and keep going.
The best way to know a lot about something is to deep dive into it and the best way to do that is to rabbit hole. For medias and books, you can start by researching:
Their sources
Their author/directors/creator’s : other works, inspirations or any considered successor, life (specific experiences that might have shaped who they are)
How to interact with the knowledge you’ve just learn
Discuss it, debate it, teach it, sing it, write it, just share it
HOW TO ORGANIZE ALL THESE BOOKS (what I do)
Make folders on File Explorer or alternatives (for e.g. i have a folder of all my books and another for my movies with subfolders)
Make lists of books you have and books on the tbr list
Sites/apps for notetaking : Notion, Obsidian, Arena, Milanote
this is kinda rushed and weird but I liked making this so yeah!

Personal Curriculum ideas -
I thought I would share some ideas as I am doing my own research / planning for my own curriculum ideas! 1. Animals - What are your favorite animals? You can have curriclum on just that species, or a genre of species. I am planning on doing at least a 'semester' of Shark research. I love sharks so so much! I want to learn more about sharks and their parts in the echosystem.
2. Hobbies - Is there a hobby you want to get into? Ceramics, painting, creative writing, (even videogames) - Learn about the history or get into the hobby yourself.
3. Baking or Cooking - Think about highschool! They have classes about baking and cooking, and so can you. Do you have a type of food you want to learn to cook. You can add this into types of curriculum if you want - lanquage / history
4. Religion. - I want to learn more about paganism, as well as greek and egyption gods etc. If you are catholic, a satanist, pagan yourself, etc add this to your curriculum.
5. Genre deep dives. If you are a reader and you want to read different types of genres make it part of or a curriculum of its own. You could also make this a movie genre deep dive. Your own film class if you will.
6. Fashion. Do you love fashion? Get into the history of fashion, go by years. In addition if you want to get into sewing you could add that into your fashion curriculum.
7. Mythos - Urban Legends - Cryptids - If you are the kind of person who loves mythology or wants to learn more about these in general you can set it as a curriculm.
8. Seasons/Holidays - Depending on how you are setting up your curriculum you could do reserach on the history of Holidays. Where did they begin from, what do different countries do for those holidays etc.
9. Gardening. - You could make a curriculum to research the right kind of plants for your area, when to plant, and build your own garden during this time.
10. Fitness. Now I know what youre thinking, but highschool has gym, even college does. You can take classes on thsi so why cant you build a curriculum based on fitness? Swim, Yoga, just general working out. Maybe this will be a way to motivate you to do it more regularly?
Think about your interests. What were your favorite classes in school? Don't let that disapear.
Other things I suggest to do to really get into the personal curriculum
Feild Trips. - If you're doing animal reserach go to a zoo or aquarium.
Go to your local library - Not only does the library offer books on whatever you're trying to reserach they often have classes or know where you can find classes to attend.
Think about your interests.
Personal curriculum doesn't need to / shouldn't have to break your bank. The point of this is to not spend a ton on your education. There should be ways to find free recourses in whatever you're into. Though if you have the means / want to go ahead and go to a class held in your community.

Let me know more terms of endearment in your languages! And please correct me if I'm wrong somewhere.
Please note that they are not all romantic. You can ask in the replies, so a native speaker can answer if it's appropiate for the type of relationship you want your characters to have.

i can only hope the senseless, state sanctioned lynching of yet another innocent black man inspires protests worldwide like it did with george floyd. i can only hope marcellus williams murder will inspire change, and will not have been completely in vain. i want to see protests, petitions, murals, phone calls, emails, handwritten letters, anything and everything that could possibly force change upon the horrific country we ironically call the united states of america.
i can only hope..
until then, say his name.
marcellus williams.

Speaking several languages actually means not remembering a single shit at all. I just found myself in a situation where I can't remember some word in none of the three languages I know. Not a single syllable. Not a letter. In fact, I can't even describe what the word in question means. The only thing I remember are pure vibes
I feel demented
Being bilingual sometimes is only good to look like a fucking idiot in two languages.
Heal. Your mom may never apologize to you, because she has conditioned herself to believe that she did right by you. She hasn't healed. HEAL. Your father may never apologize to you, because he can only see what he's done right. He hasn't healed.HEAL. Your family members may never apologize to you, because toxicity is what they were raised on. They haven't healed. HEAL. That "friend" may never apologize to you, because he/she isn't sorry. He/she hasn't healed. HEAL. If/when they reach their healing, they may seek your forgiveness. Until then show yourself some grace and compassion. Be so healed that it won't even matter. Heal for you. You owe it to yourself.🫡♥️
