The Ultimate Psychonauts Character Bracket is a tournament that pits ALL of the Psychonauts characters against each other to see who is the most beloved. Or as close to all as possible.
This will include real-world characters, mental-world characters, & even characters not wholly seen.
How it'll work:
The current plan is that the bracket will be divided into smaller brackets, with each small bracket focusing on a single category of characters
The winners of these small brackets will then face off against each other
Characters may appear more than once in a different form, provided they are different enough (Example: Helmut & Mote of Light)
Exact mental representations of characters in their own mind don't count (Example: Mental Sasha in Sasha's Shooting Gallery)
Characters who use the same model but have different names will be counted as separate characters
Characters with the same model and name will be counted as a single character (Examples: the French soldiers in Waterloo World, many lungfish citizens, & personal demons)
For characters with different names/identities, these will only be counted as one (Examples: Nick Johnsmith/Gristol Malik and Ford & his real-world alter egos)
To make things a little fairer for those involved, Raz will not be in the bracket until the end. He's the final boss.
This list may be changed as the tournament draws nearer.

What counts as a character?
So, the term "character" will be used a little loosely for the purpose of this bracket.
Obviously, real-world humans count. The same goes for mental-world humans. Both real & mental non-humans with a name and/or voice will be included. After these, the criteria start to change a bit. For the most part, if they have a face, voice, and/or personality, they probably count.
I will need a picture to represent each character, so anyone mentioned but not shown will almost certainly not be included.
How many characters will be a part of this?
Just about all of them. Which is so far nearly 400... Click this link for the list, which will be updated as necessary. Did someone get overlooked? Or is someone incorrectly included as a character? Let me know in my inbox.
What's the deal with this "category" nonsense?
Due to the substantial number of characters this will include, everyone is being divided into categories of similar characters. (Category examples: Campers, Aquato family, Bosses) The winners of each category will then go against each other. (Example: The winning camper against the winning Aquato family member)

That's fine; you don't have to participate in this tournament.
