Some of my favourite (and most representative) panels I drew for 'The Dream Thieves' graphic novel adaptation I finished work on last year, and that comes out on August 9th (you can preorder it)! To be frank, the process of adapting this book was like pulling apart a beloved childhood toy and trying to put it back together with half the parts. I am proud of her, but boy did she back over my lifeless body more than once.

kavinsky is an interesting topic because people either deny his sa on ronan or deem it as a thing but it’s not important and focus instead on his “brat summer” existence. but then while doing that they enjoy shoving him in the faces of people who have expressed discomfort with him/rovinsky and insist that he/rovinsky is “buzzy” or whatever, when said discomfort very well could be coming from someone’s own experiences (it doesn’t have to be for that discomfort to be valid, but it could be). it’s gross and shows an overall lack of thinking or care on the topic in favour of an attitude of somehow being superior for liking him/rovinsky

Headcanon time: I’d like to say that I personally think the cat the Loveage family owns would be a Persian cat, and the reason why is because Persian cats were LITERALLY considered royalty (French and British royalty) and were prized as LUXURY STATUS SYMBOLS! and also that's why Persian cats are SO EXPENSIVE. so like, because Leovander is from a rich family and they have a title to their name, that’s why I say I think they at least own a Persian cat,,

the 2nd brown cat is a Corshin Rex, which is basically like a sphynx cat except it has VERY LITTLE fur,, because I definitely think Leovander would own an ugly hairless cat, except I wanted it brown to match with Leo,, 😼
