these trees do not have names, nor do I find it necessary to name them myself; I know them as friends already.

SPOILERS GOOD OMENS S3
And I always dwelled on the scene in season 2 where the Metatron asked, “Do they ever ask for death?” in Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death.
I had a feeling since that point on that the ending of it all would be Crowley and Aziraphale ultimately choosing death, for some greater good or as a punishment of some sort to become mortals.
I suppose that’s pretty much the ending of season 3 summed up, choosing the death of themselves and the entirety of humanity, heaven, and hell as it currently had existed for the ensured future of a universe with genuine free will. That’s their “Death” over the “Coffee” that might have been the reinstating of life as it was and keeping each other in some way for eternity, or until the end of the Great Plan again.

Tupandactylus imperator with Ginkgo huolinhensis. Both species from the Early Cretaceous. There is an interesting paper which discusses how pterosaur pycnofibres may be synonymous with bird feathers featuring T. imperator. Cool stuff!
Colours and patterns were inspired by toucans, various parakeets and monarch butterflies :)
