❱❱     well, at least she wasn’t pissed -- he seemed relieved at that. in all honesty, alucard was kind of over the whole .. starting shit with people all the time thing -- but it wasn’t like he could say that. for now, he’d just try and keep her out of trouble and protect her from the shitty justice system. after all, he doubted if they all got into some shit that they’d be kind to either of them -- they’d probably lock them up somewhere for being so different. and that .. wasn’t something alucard was ready to face .. not again. “ mm ... really? you sure? “ he asked, almost unsure that she was actually willing to drop it that easy. the smile on her face suggested she was fine with it -- but alucard wasn’t sure. 

❱❱     he mused over what they could possibly do instead, something equally chaotic to arson but less dangerous .. few things lined up with that level of chaotic in his eyes at least. “ hm .. how about we check out what’s inside? maybe we can rob a few people and get outta dodge -- who’s gonna trust the testimonies of those freaks inside there anyways? “ he asked, hoping that it’d work out as a good solution to their problem of what to do next.

❱❱     sometimes, he wondered what could help him live a more normal life -- help him integreate into society properly again. but .. with how he was, he had always known that he should be with people like cassandra anyways. they were close, had been even back then -- and she was part of what helped him realize that he didn’t belong with normal people .. neither of them did.

❱❱  “ cassandra, i ... don’t think this is a good idea. “ the words are spoken with obvious reluctance on alucard’s end, not wanting to disappoint with the sudden reluctance. it wasn’t like he hated the idea -- he just didn’t want anything bad to happen. with so much going wrong with their original plan, leaving only them as the two who had linked back up after the events of the shooting, alucard didn’t want to take any unnecessary risks. he tucked his hands into his pockets, silently contemplating whether or not saying that was a good idea or not.  “ i mean -- unless you’re sure it’s safe, that is.“  he clarified, clearly adding that in at the last minute.  // @bezerkcr liked for a short starter!
