Yep.

In fact, my hubby and I recently got into Chicago Fire and I, naturally, had it bad for Severide. But I could tell where his character was going. And I even said to my husband, "They're going to give him the Daryl Dixon treatment". And sure enough -- He is the standoffish bad boy with a heart of gold. There's a situation where Severide made a bad call? Nope. You can bet the next episode it turns out that his decision was right and everyone else was wrong. Daryl v Rick and everyone else all over again.

My hubby was like, so what? These guys are the good guys of the show. And I'm like fair, but all the other good guys are nuanced, and deep, and complicated. They mess up. A lot. And those are the characters I relate to and root for.

Just gets old knowing your face character is going to do something that everyone disagrees with, yet turns out he is right, rinse and repeat.

I want a character who fucks up sometimes. Making them a stereotypical loner male who swoops in to save a female while saying "Ain't nothing" aka "Awww shucks" is so overplayed.

Give it a rest already. We aren't looking for Shakespeare but we also aren't falling the typical boy meets girl who dazzles him after being with 45 other women trope. Spare me the "stars in my eyes when you came along story".

As for Daryl's new show, fuck that. I really wish Melissa didn't come back to it. I know she adores Carol. But they are clearly using her to draw in viewers because Daryl Dixon hasn't been popular since 2016. Move along, boys.

I'll be a Caryler until the day I die. But I have enough head canons, scenes from the actual series (Season 2), the reunion, etc. I don't need Nicotero or Norman to pretend their story was only surface level friendship crap.

Carol and Daryl are endgame. Imagine if he was played by a good looking actor who didn't have this immense ego. Norman, girl. Look in the mirror. You might have bagged a married woman (classmate so classy) but Leo DiCap you ain't.

For Halloween I went as my favorite (undead) Sheriff: Gus Gilbert from ‘Pet Sematary 2′. Those who know, know. ;)

Long story short: Went as a character who has scared me since I first caught the movie on cable TV one Saturday afternoon when I was kid. Spent entirely too much time on the details, going so far as to paint shoulder patches that resembled his -- “KC” = “Kennebago County” because there was no way in Hell I was gonna try painting all of those letters on a tiny piece of canvas. I couldn’t find a Sheriff uniform shirt (well, I did, actually but -- I’ll get to that in a minute) so I had to buy a khaki(ish) buttondown from Walmart, paint the breast pockets dark brown, and add my own brown ribbon to the shoulders. Nothing to it (LOLOLOL)! K. Painstakingly paint a shirt? Check. Paint some canvas patches on a drunken Friday night before the party? Check. Spend entirely too much on hat, sheriff badges, undershirt, fake blood, fake drill, etc.? CHECK!  Every detail, I had them all down. Nothing got by me... Except... One major one did: Gus’ neck wound was on his left side. It’s hard to tell from the pics, but I put my “wound” on my right side (same side my nose is pierced). F*&@!  Oh well. I had fun anyway! And Clancy, babe, if you can see this: It was all for you. <3

Thank you! Everyone claims that they are "concerned" about people killing themselves by eating, or that body positive women are teaching others to accept fat. Well, if we ridicule "fat" people enough, they will kill themselves regardless. And teenagers will view an extra pound of weight as fat and then either become anorexic or kill themselves. Pretty much. We already know what Spencer is like when he is in love (Maeve). He's a sweet, insecure guy. On what planet does it make any sense for him to hook up with a psychopath who framed him and threatened to hurt his mother?? Come on, people. Just because they're both attractive doesn't mean they would ever be good together. It's just baffling to see these so-called Reid fans shipping this.

I shipped Caryl from season 2 until 5 before I finally opened my eyes and seen the writing on the wall. Quite frankly, I was glad when that happened because Carylers are the biggest bunch of bitches around. There's a clique of like 10 who are considered "true" Carylers even though they only interact with one another and never bother to give newbies or lesser-known Carylers the time of day. They are the epitome of mean girls. They only 'like' each other's posts and call other Carylers "asshats".

... I don’t even know where to begin with this post. 

First of all, it is very curious that I received this message mere minutes after posting on another Caryler’s post that I had only ever gotten one hateful anon in the 2 years I have been on Tumblr. Somehow, I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

Second of all, I know there are some Carylers who certainly are a bit more well-known than others. But I suspect these girls (and guys) are a bit more vocal than some others, and have probably had their blogs since the conception of Caryl (which actually varies depends on who you ask).

Regardless, I have never felt excluded from this fandom. I’ve sent my share of asks or commented on other posts and have yet to be met with a truly hostile response (from another Caryler). Now, not every single one of us is nice and like any fandom, we have our “bad eggs”. But at least we don’t have “Beth eggs” and I think we can all be grateful for that.

P.S. We get enough drama and bullshit from opposing ships -- Why do we need to turn on one another?
