| | GIF TEXTURES FOR YOU TO USE IN YOUR EDITS, PART 2! | | (PART ONE) Hi friends! All of these textures are ones that I have personally gif’d and then edited from free resource videos. You are welcome to use any and all of them! No credit is necessary, but if you do save one of these, please like and/or reblog this post so that others can see them! Following me is always super appreciated, as I love friends and I will also be posting more graphic resources that you might be interested in! I recommend applying these in Screen, Lighten, or one of the other “Lighter Color” options in Photoshop. That way, you get the white dots and such without the black background overlayed onto your image like this. For those who are new to this, here is a tutorial (not mine) on combining gifs with another image! Please do not delete / cut + repost this caption, these take quite a while to make and edit! I appreciate it, have fun!! Feel free to link me to your creations!
Low Poly Guide
A brief and badly written tutorial on how I do low poly work as promised Ow<)/
//I’m very sorry to those just learning 3D, as half of this probably won’t make any sense. But if 3D was easy we’d see a hell of a lot more of it than we do, so never give up! It’s a tough area but you can make amazing things once you get your head round it, and there’s a huge array of tutorials already out there that can help you get started.//

do you have any advice for making sure characters of color aren't too orange in skin tone while editing? whenever this happens i try to increase cyans but then they look too pale and idk im obviously so bad at photoshop
Yeah! Normally I think people’s first instinct when something is too orange/yellow, they go straight to the blues. But actually, it’s a better idea to just color mix so that you don’t lose the skin’s natural undertone. If you’re using selective coloring, yellow and magenta both contribute to the orange. So you want to decrease both until things balance out.
So here’s one that’s too orange and we want to go from left to the right:
These are the Selective Coloring settings I used. Notice I never really touched the cyans much. It’s only the red and yellows and the magenta/yellow sliders within the colors that I played with.
The same concept applies to any kind of color mixing, whether its Color Balance or Curves. Don’t rely on the blues/cyan to do all the work or you’ll just end up with something that’s very white and pale.
Starry GFX Tutorial
Hi! This is a requested tutorial on how to make a starry gfx like these.
I’ll be using Photoshop CC in this and I’ll try to be as specific as I can. I won’t be giving out the PSD or the animation I use in this because I don’t know where exactly I got them from, sorry ^^’

Change the layer from ‘Normal to Overlay’
Change the Opacity from 100% to 25% (you don’t have to do exactly 25% you can decide if you want it more stronger or more lighter)
Now you can adjust it to look more realistic, I erased some spots here and there.

Color Reference Guide to Recognize & Avoid Whitewashing
I’ve made a tutorial on how to color adjust to fix washed out colorings, but I noticed people aren’t always sure when their coloring needs fixing in the first place. So I’ve made a bunch of colorings you can use to compare your own to. It’s designed to help avoid whitewashing, but also help avoid over-correction.
If you’re not a content creator, you can also use this guide for reblogging as well. :)
Using the Guide
Each set comes in three: cool, neutral, and warm. If your coloring is bluer/whiter than the cool tone, consider readjusting.
Examples of what might be too pale/bright are beneath each set
There are various categories (daytime, night scenes, etc) for each type of scene you might encounter
Each coloring has a color palette beneath for the highlights, midtones, and shadows of the character’s face. If you’re having trouble eyeballing it, use the eyedropper tool to double check.
NOTES 1) For the sake of simplicity, I’ve used one character per category, but characters of color are not interchangeable. Identify the skin tone for the character you’re coloring and work with that. This is only meant to give a frame of reference for what is and isn’t whitewashing 2) If any of the colorings look different than what they’ve been stated as (i.e. the cool tones look too warm or some look way too dark to be visible) calibrate your monitor. It means your screen color and gamma needs readjustment.
Guide itself is under the read more!

Hi! I just found your blog, and I love your art! How do you do your inking, especially your really thick outlines?
ahhhh thank you <3, im glad you like my arts ^^ and i’m so sorry for my late answer.so……… on how i do my lineart? since i don’t own any pentab i have to improvise a bit with mouse XD. I use photoshop CS3 for my art program.im gonna explain on how i make my linearts :)
1. Geting my sketch readyi make my sketch traditional on paper then take a picture of it, for this example i use this sketch
2. Use the pentool tool on photoshop make sure the pen tool setting is on path only, the default setting is usually shape layer. and set the setting of the pen tool as shown bellow
3. trace the sketchjust trace the lineart sketch and make a few anchor points, don’t worry about the line being to pointy, you can set the line curve later using “convert point tool”. Lets do the lining for the eye, the result will be like this.
and then use the “convert point tool” to one of the anchor point to make a curved line there.
4. Then click right on your mouse then pick fill pathmake sure you already have a empty layer first, the layer where you want the lineart to be. and already pick wich color you want the lineart to be
and set the setting of the fill path like this
and the result will be like this
after that just right click again and delete the path
—————————————————————————————————-
That’s all of how i make my lineart. I believe that there’s is a easier way to do this, but this is just how i draw XD. the result of the finished lineart of this tutorial is this
Sorry if this tutorial is kinda messy, thanks for reading :). I hope this tutorial is useful, or if you want to give me suggestion, go right ahead :). I’m actually looking for more ways to draw with mouse ^^. and excuse me if my English kinda bad :) its not my primary language.

Gradient Combo
First make a new layer in Photoshop
Then select the gradient tool, It is preferred if it’s a 2 color gradient.
Then you’ll want to dragon either from left to right, or diagonally from left to right
as so:
Then you want to look above where layers are located, and you will find a box that says “Normal”
You will want to switch that to “Overlay”
This makes the layer transparent while managing to retain the colors of the layer
You should end up with an effect similar to this
