The Captain!! Spitfire!

• In my design, Spitfire is very angled and sharp

• …just like her personality!

• She has VERY expressive eyes (that are also unintentionally seductive)

• Like even when she’s stone faced when judging recruits, her eyes give her away lol

• Her and Wave Chill are honestly such the dynamic duo (besides Soarin and Dash) and I love them

• this is a little NSFW but she definitely pegs Wave LMAOOO

Fleetfoot yay!!

• I love Fleetfoot, she’s so cute!! All of her interactions with others are adorable!

• As you’ve probably noticed by now, I like to give pegasi different wing shapes / sizes. Not only for the variety, but to show off their personal strengths when it comes to flying!

• As an example, Fleetfoot’s wings are pretty aerodynamic and slick, making it easier for her to reach top speeds.

• She’s the second smallest of the Bolts’, so her small body mass also contributes to her ability to reach intense speeds. Side note; Little Star is the smallest, Dash is the 3rd smallest!

• she has the biggest girl crush on Rainbow Dash don’t lie

Soarin!!

NOTE: this is an earlier design! Around Chapters 7- 100ish. I will make an updated design as well!

• I REALLY love Soarin. Calm fleshed out his character so well, and I genuinely get so happy when we get a Soarin and Dash focused chapter because their chemistry is just *chef’s kiss*

• Remember that time he told Scootaloo his name was Sore Wings LOLZ

• I don’t know why but for some reason I have this vivid memory of Dash admiring Soarin’s wings somewhere in PTH. Don’t quote me on this because that’s probably not the case but I swear I remember that somewhere!!

• Anyways to go along with that last note, I decided to give Soarin these really majestic and beautiful wings. …Dash really likes them lol

• I like to think his horn is more of a headpiece than just a strap on. Since the Bolts’ are in combat a lot I thought it would be cool if it was made similar to a piece of armor

RAINBOW DASH!!! MY FAVORITE!!

Below are some of my personal headcannons / design notes!

• I like to think that out of all the Bolts’, she’s definitely the prettiest, but in that “unconventional” way. (Does that even make sense???) Like the type of girl you would see once, not think anything of, but the more you see her the more striking she becomes. Her personality is also very brash, which DEFINITELY adds to her charm and her allure. Along with the whole “Element of Loyalty” thing, she’s pretty interesting!

• BIG OL EARS. & THEY’RE VERY SENSITIVE!!

• This isn’t technically canon (or, at least, confirmed by Calm Wind) but I like to imagine Soarin’ and Dash carry a feather of each other’s behind their ear. Ya know, with the whole “bound to each other eternally” thing they have going on, I like to think they always carry a little piece of each other for comfort :-)

• Dash has remained pretty consistent in PTH as far as I’ve read. The only injury that was really “groundbreaking” was her getting bit on the shoulder by Nightshade in Chapter 134(?) so I gave her a scar there.

Other than that, Dash is one tough cookie!!

(P.S. - I won’t be including the Wonderbolts uniforms in these unless I feel it is relevant).
