my last polaroid of 2020
It’s okay if you thought you were over it but it hits you all over again.
It’s okay to fall apart even after you thought you had it under control.
You are not weak. Healing is messy. And there is no timeline for healing.
If today something triggered your PTSD:
I'm so sorry and your pain is valid.
You are not alone and you are loved.
It will pass and you will be okay again.
I know life is tough but I want you to know I am rooting for you and I know you will get through this.
healing is hard but it’s worth it. you’re brave and good; you deserve the healing you’ve set your mind to achieving
I’m sorry I don’t post more. When I’m in bad times I have more thoughts than in good times. Feel free to submit thoughts on anon
Congratulations to everybody healing, building and moving forward. You deserve it
and here you are, continuing on, despite how hard it’s been
Reason #2102
I want to recover because it’s starts by small steps forward like this
One day it will be better and you'll be thankful for the little steps you are taking right now.
I will be okay. I will survive this. I am defined by my future, not what happened to me in the past.
I was happy once I will be happy again
No you’re not ”too far gone to be saved”
And I’ll keep doing my best!
You survived the trauma, you will survive the recovery
