back in freshman year of high school we had this teacher who was really fucking annoying and HATED cell phones with a fucking passion. at the beginning of the school year he had us sign this goddamned “contract” that we wouldn’t have it in class or he would confiscate it.
so this annoying douchebag kid was on his phone and the teacher went “you have to give it to me now you signed the contract” and the kid didn’t even look up and said “contracts signed by a minor are not legally binding” and continued to text. and i hated that kid but…..dare i say iconic
anyway he got detention for it but i just found out he got into law school this year

Yeah, I see a lot of shark positivity posts on my dash these days and I really appreciate that. But I think something is being left out of the message so I’m just gonna say that:
YES, Sharks are not bloodthirsty monsters. They only do what they do because they are instinctively driven to do so.
NO, sharks are not your friends. They are not sea-puppies, gentle babies, or whatever BS anthropomorphic “cute” term you want to use to describe them.
YES, you are more likely to be killed by falling coconuts and any number of improbable circumstances than you are to be killed by a shark attack,
NO, sharks are not “harmless”. They are apex predators of their habitats and deserve to be treated with the same respect that you would give to a wild lion, bear, or wolf. JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT LIKELY TO ATTACK YOU DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY WON’T. ACCIDENTS CAN ALWAYS HAPPEN, AND A SHARK’S PATIENCE IS NOT LIMITLESS.
YES, you should take every precaution to prevent a shark from “test-biting” you.
NO, a test-bite is not just a harmless consequence of shark curiosity. A TEST-BITE CAN KILL YOU. Just because sharks generally release people after the first nip and don’t make any effort to eat them does not mean that the bite is somehow any less deadly. You will bleed out in the water if the wound is bad enough.
YES, sharks are endangered and unfairly demonised and worthy of our support.
NO, that does not mean that anthropomorphising them and spreading false information is okay.
Please support sharks, but please, for the love of god, give them the respect they deserve when you do so. YOU ARE NOT HELPING THEM BY ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO SWIM RIGHT INTO THEIR JAWS.

So let me tell you a thing: I have had some really, really bad experiences in Tumblr rp. About two years ago, I was dealing with the worst of it. Every time I logged onto Tumblr or AIM or Kik., I had to brace myself for being called a liar, or a backstabber, or a c*nt. People who didn’t know me thought I was a villain, and the people who did know me thought I was a bitch. It was a fucking nightmare, and I didn’t have anyone I could trust to really be on my side… except forSāsha.
Without her support during that time, I would have gone fucking nuts. She was always there to tell me that I wasn’t the bad guy, and stop me from telling the whole godforsaken group chat to suck my left nut. And she’s definitely the only reason I didn’t quit rping altogether more than a handful of times.
She’s an incredible, loyal friend. She’s patient and kind and loving, and sticks with you even when you don’t particularly deserve it. I was so excited when I saw her reserve one of my character’s bandmates when she first joined rp, and she never let me down because she truly is amazing and creative and talented. I’m so proud of everything she’s achieved and I love her so much and am so glad she’s back.

My mom asks about her. Like if I don’t mention her for long enough she’ll be like “what happened to Lila? Are you two not talking anymore? Are you guys doing okay?” I hope that gives some insight to how much I love her. Or how much my mom does. Idk.
I remember one time while she was catfishing me, she sent me this para starter and I genuinely went in the group chat and told them I was intimidated by how great of a writer “Alex” was. She probably laughed at me. But she’s just that good. She’s also a swell poet and just so, so talented when it comes to writing. She could make you laugh and cry all in one reply, I swear to God.
Plus, she’s a great friend. She’s funny and sweet and more patient than my ass deserves. I’m so so lucky to know her, and I hope I can see her cute face again sometime in the near future.

I haven’t known her as long as the two above, but she’s super sweet and caring and I’m very glad to know her. I feel like I’ve watched her grow up in her rp life by stalking her blog after she took up a character I left in a rp and following her on here. She has the purest heart and things definitely aren’t always easy for her but I’m so so proud of all she manages to get through. We haven’t written much yet even though we’ve been plotting together forever, but I’m looking forward to getting the ball rolling eventually. I also haven’t known her very well for very long so I won’t be able to give you any cute little stories but she’s honestly a joy to know. 👼
ok i want a 1x1 of two single parents of kids in preschool and they meet because their kids are trouble makers and five year old partners in crime and at first they dont get along at all because they’re kinda like “your kid is a bad influence” and they keep getting called in and eventually they start to realize its maybe just their kids being kids and the kids have play dates that turn into them having lil dates of their own and it could get complicated because of exes and stuff and yes someone give me this please
