I know very little about Copano Rickey, but seeing her do a fuckin dragon energy blast in her special animation made me nod in understanding why she seems to be liked

reasons this could work as a rare pair:

Both of them are jackasses

Ope’s associations with being a tyrant/overlord are similar to Rudolf being ‘emperor’, which would immediately activate Sirius’ inferiority complex and desire to prove herself

Sirius would relish the idea of putting Ope in her place as the clown she is

Ope would absolutely eat up the way Sirius poses herself as a member of the proletariat and as a revolutionary figure opposed to monarchical rule and privilege

Being called something like ‘a worthy adversary whose defeat will propel me ever higher’ would piss Sirius off

She would low-key respect Ope’s unending greed and desire to soar ever higher though

the problem is that due to her bombastic nature 85% of the time Opera O is an annoying cartoon character, which not only makes her # too much for almost everyone immediately, but forces anyone trying to think outside the box to really dig deep and/or get a little delusional about it to find deeper emotional wells to pull from and put Ope in a space where other characters she interacts with less could actually have an emotional moment with her.

Anyway my proposal is that we lock Ope and Symboli Sirius in a room together and see who gives in first
