CNN’s Don Lemon on police shootings: “When I am stopped by an officer - I shouldn’t have to be ‘yes,sir-ing’ anybody.”

Don Lemon lost the support of the Black community after a few controversial remarks that he made throughout his career. During yesterday’s CNN Tonight he shared his thoughts on the killings of two Black men that occurred earlier this week and they’re actually making everyone consider changing their mind. Let’s be honest - everything Don Lemon said was on point. I cannot help but think that until this day he was forced to say everything he said, because his words regarding police violence are pretty damn woke.

Every vote for Donald Trump requires two Hilary Clinton votes to overcome. A Hillary Clinton vote can only be overcome by two Donald Trump votes. If you stay home, a Donald Trump vote doubles its power. This is the real, actual reality of the situation. There is not one other option.

As someone who lived through the 2000 elections and everything that happened after – Please, do not put this country through that bullshit again.  Abstentions are not counted.  There is no “no confidence” vote. 

And – and I say this a lot, but I’m gonna keep saying it because I feel like y’all aren’t listening – THERE ARE MORE ELECTIONS THIS YEAR THAN JUST THE PRESIDENTIAL ONE.  The president cannot do jack without Congress.  This has always been so.  The right Congress can keep even Trump in check.  The wrong Congress will keep us with an 8-judge Supreme Court for the better part of a year in hopes that somehow Romney will emerge from the ashes of 2012, hipcheck Trump out of there, and give them a pretense of respectability again.  We’ve all seen how fucking little this obstructionist, bullshit Congress has gotten done for the last eight years.  For fuck’s sake, vote in ALL the elections, not just one.  Government takes ALL of us, not one person.  Don’t throw the whole thing out over one fucking person.
