"It's okay for the tough ones to cry"

Sometimes he cried (in his human life), so when I try to reach out to the internal version of him in my mind or in times of distress, sometimes I feel he would be sad or "yelling" (in my thoughts, I can't hear it) to stop if bypassed his urging to hold back and swung at myself. I get emotional thinking of the living him being sad, so I wouldn't want to make him sad in my head either, right? I can't stop when overwhelmed too much in one day alone, but once I hit that 'blackout' sort of point (I'm still aware - but disassociating into rage/can't calm myself except stay nonviolent to others) I can think of him trying to scream over my thoughts and crying. So I feel if this is coming to mind when I otherwise can't hear myself (in a sense) or care about myself, it feels very real to me and that I have to stop making him so sad.

I still don't know what kind of plural this would be called. It's not fully me helping myself, as I feel angry/sad at myself in a meltdown/disassociation (rare, it's usually after someone fought/shut me up + worst days at work = bam) and can't talk myself down or even stop myself from doing it, but I can think of him protesting loud thoughts into my head. So yes, please cry for me to stop as much as you can in my worst possible situations!
