wordlessly, he took quick steps to aid you, his height towering over you even when you are standing on top of the pantry. you listed out the ingredients that you were missing, and he quickly found it stacked inside the shelf; it was usually on the lower shelf, perhaps a chef put the stock in the wrong one. when he setted the ingredients on the countertop, his eyes noticed the bowl of batter, and he knew too well what you were planning to make; it was none other than his favorite doughnuts. you thanked him sweetly before you went back to your project, ignoring the way his eyes landed on your figure with such tenderness.
