You know what we don't talk about enough.
Ilya did cocaine and like sure we don't really know to what extent but like he did cocaine at least for a while.
And Shane dosen't know. Sure he knows Ilya used to be a bit of a party guy but - to straight laced, won't drink a glass of wine during the season, macrobiotic diet, does yoga and refused to drink until he was legally allowed Shane - cocaine would seem really wild.
So I need a fic OK. Like maybe Shane is starting to learn Russian and he's been watching movies in Russian to help his vocab, which means he's learnt some words you might not hear on Duolingo. And then Sveta commes over and she mentions something about their parties back in Russia and for once Shane understands what those two are speaking about and he is horrified.
He jumps up from where he's sat on the sofa.
"You did cocaine!"
"да" Ilya is giving him a very confused look.
It turns into a whole thing because Shane is like "DRUGS!?" and Ilya is just like "yes?"
And Shane is like really worried cus like 'What do you mean my husband is a drug addict, do we need to get you to rehab, oh god, should I call my parents, do you have a problem?'
So Ilya has to be like 'No, I am not addict, I have not done coke in years. We regularly get tested, you know this. I was just dumb teenager.'
But that just causes a different problems because.
"YOU WERE A TEENAGER?!"
And it just becomes one of those things that remind them that they didn't grow up in the same world.
Or something like that.
