I love the characterisation of the queens as they are but sometimes i think it would be fascinating to do a fic where they’re all just the complete opposite to how they’re normally depicted.

So just off the top of my head: An Aragon who just cannot handle the idea of reincarnation because it completely misaligns with her religious beliefs thus far, and she ends up painfully tormented by the fact that nothing she believed in her past life fits with this. Also the knowledge that her husband left her and went on to have SIX wives and killed two of them? It just destroys her. She’s filled with guilt- she wonders if she should have done even more to keep Henry and Anne apart in order to save Anne’s life- and she’s thrown into turmoil because….well, the idea that your husband was bewitched from you by an awful turn of fate is one thing but to learn he’s….actually just not very monogamous? Brutal. So imagine an Aragon who is just really quiet and awkward, very anxious and on edge because literally none of the certainties that gave her strength in her first life exist for her any more.

People acting like serious among us comics are “weird” or “not accurate” astounds me.

You’re saying that being on a space ship with someone impersonating your species SO well that you can’t identify them ‘til a murder happens should “only be seen as a laugh?” Or “meme material?”

The only eye catching content I’ve seen from this fandom is horror / survival / found family related.

Let people branch out. Because Among Us died off for a reason - it has little to no plot, and it’s just like every other mafia-mechanic game.

The seriousness and plot put into Among Us artwork has caused this game to gain a lot more attention than it did last time. SO much attention that Among Us 2 was cancelled - because the original game started skyrocketing in players.

Memes are fine, don’t get me wrong. However, Among Us does have the potential to be scary in fan works. Don’t bury that potential in your meme culture superiority.

My sister was playing Among Us the other day, and the most hilarious thing happened.

She killed someone and vented away, and didn't notice until it was too late that someone was in the room she'd vented to. In a panic, she chased the person all the way to the emergency button. By the time she reached the button, her kill cooldown was over, and she killed the person.

After they'd called the emergency meeting.

The game registered that they'd called the meeting, but also that they were dead.

Chaos ensued as everyone else in the game went "omg they called the meeting but they're dead what the heck????"

After the meeting was over, she got voted off because the game, registering that she'd killed someone, performed the "kill" animation. Right in front of everyone.

not to be a person of color on main but once again everybody who is white needs to consistently and continuously be conscious of how you treat and interact with other people of color. are you holding creators of color to higher standards than white creators? do you find yourself making excuses for your white friends when they’re being told an action they did had made a person of color uncomfortable? do you find your friends of color less approachable and more aggressive than your white friends? do you find yourself only listening to the opinions of people of color who are like you in other ways (trans, gay, ND, etc) or who validate your opinions on media, the most egregious being “my friend of color says it’s okay to like this”. It isn’t enough to try and default it to treating them just like they’re white, because there is a notable difference in said treatment and you are unable to recognize it if you do not check yourself on it without constantly being told.
