Here is the sign I was carrying at the Collider IMAX Q&A. (Notice how it’s completely mangled from my sweaty hands.) Rian signed it shortly after I gave him the pin and we nerded out together. I told him that the sign was from the Reylo Tumblr Fandom, on behalf of everyone, and he smiled so big and laughed, said awwww, then looked at me very mischievously with a twinkle in his eye like a little elf, and did this:

So he drew the heart first, then his signature, then the arrow, then the exclamation points :) and he was so cute and focused and concentrating so hard. We all got this IMAX poster too that he signed as we talked about my question. He thanked me again for asking it, and I thanked him again for his time and for being here, we snapped a quick picture, and left - I got the feeling I could have talked to him more, but we were one of the last people in line, and boy did he look tired! I could not adore him more. Rian Reylo Johnson, everyone.

Okay, I’m trying to stay away from Tumblr and AO3 this week, but I had to see this post. 

Here’s the problem: look closely at the GIF. Now tell me how he unholsters the lightsaber because unless it is holstered on his buttcheek it just appeared out of thin air. I see the thing on his hip, but he reaches behind it and not up high enough if that is where the hilt is supposed to be!

or maybe his signature stomp move summons it….

The saber is/was on his waist. I am of the opinion that his saber is velcro’d onto his wide belt.

Velcro on Kylo Ren? Oh, the humanity….now it’s a crime of fashion! Also must dispute as there is no Velcro visible when we see the hilt in closeups….but it might explain why he always wears the leather gloves.

The other explanation is that his belt is a giant double-sided tape.

I love how Rey is a hopeful grump?

I love how Rey is angry and powerful and finds delight in strange creatures and rain.

I love how she fights with the best intentions even when they’re wrong and how she tries and wants to save her friends.

I love how she sees in black and white.

I love how she is forced to see grey.

I love how she sees her goal and goes for it, without thinking it through.

I love how she’s’ flawed.

I love how, if she was a Jedi in the Prequel’s, she would have been considered too volatile, too impulsive, rash, passionate

I love how Rey loves.

I love how she wants and desires and fears and I love how much she trusts.

I love her naivete.

I love her growth.

I love her journey.

I love Rey.
