Boris dived down when ducked underwater by the girl, and he quickly swam around her, popping up behind Alice and hugging her from behind. “Very playful today huh~?” He chuckled.
"Me.. playful.. well I". Alice paused for a sec and nodded her head "I guess I am a little". Alice turned a bit red as the neko hugged her from behind, his ears and tail were all wet but the cold water felt very pleasant on a hot day like this,
Boris chuckled and rested his head gently on Alice's head while he was hugging her from behind still. "That's cute~ As always from you as expected, Alice~" He purred contently as he enjoyed the feeling of being wet with cool water on a hot day. Its a very refreshing feeling indeed.
My, it's the tricky little cat~ How annoying! I've got a riddle for you this time, though. So don't try to trick me~ (beaming!) "If it's information you seek, come and see me. If it's pairs of letters you need, I have consecutively three. Who am I?" Fufu~ Tell me you know it or not! ((hello!! 0w0))
"Well, its not my fault that I’m coincidentally standing on the very place that you walked into due to being lost as usual." The cat pondered a bit at the riddle. Hm, it was a pretty tough riddle, but he does not like admitting that he does not know the answer. "It would be pointless telling you on whether I know it or not if you do not know the right answer yourself. Do you know the answer or not?"
((Hi~ 0 w 0/))
"Well, nice to see that you need nothing else in your life." Boris muttered, wondering what sort of things goes around in Ace’s seemingly dense head all the time. Well, not exactly dense, more of deranged. Boris frowned a bit, finding the knight’s never changing smile to be pretty ominous.
"Hm, fine. Why is a raven like a writing desk?"
…
The cat eyed at the small pouch suspiciously, though even if it was actual money, he did not really need money or anything. He was pretty content with what he had.
"I don’t think it’s that either. Aha~" Through an unchanging smile he let a few awkward moments pass by. Ace quite liked Boris, an interesting kitty he was.. "What does the little cat even do, hm?” /rude
‘
"I don’t know! Why?"
…
He waved it back and forth a few times, but Boris wasn’t biting… Ace sighed. “What do you want then? The Queen likes you too much, she’ll do whatever you want.”
Boris just stood there give Ace a very moody and suspicious face. That knight is definitely someone that you don’t want to not take seriously, even if his mannerisms are hard to take seriously from the point of view of someone who does not know Ace. “Cat things I suppose? What has that got to do with anything?” Well ‘cat things’ is a subjective term here, since as a neko boy, Boris can do things normal cats can’t do.
"Some poet wrote on both." He forgot who that poet’s name was. He only knows that Alice was the one who introduced the poet to him, since that poet was an outsider apparently.
…
"If I want things from the queen, I’ll go ask her myself. You don’t need to be involved." Besides, the cat was never keen about the queen giving him things, since it will almost always be cans of cat food that he does not eat. And currently, he has so many worthless tins of the stuff at his place that he has started playing jenga out of them for mild amusement.
"Try making an actual decent offer would nya’? Try impressing me for once."
"Welp, all the things we have to do for outsiders." Boris knew this all too well himself. Currently Alice was also having him try to socialize with Pierce, with a degree of success so far, since their animosity towards each other has been mostly reduced to just ‘playful sparring’.
"Huh. That does not sound really surprising." Peter had always hated the cat a lot for many reasons. Full of germs, taking up Alice, having sicced Pierce on the rabbit, etc, etc. It would be really easy for Peter to come up with another reason to hate Boris more if he really wanted to. "He was always a rabid wasn’t he?" He chuckled a bit.
"My Alice huh?" The cat pondered a bit. "She’s a sweet outsider girl with a bit of a temperament. Friendly but can be strict with her opinions that are largely from her world. Was your Alice like that too?"
"Yeah, maybe Peter has rabies… Bunny rabies…" Boris chuckled at his own terrible joke, knowing perfectly well rabbits rarely get it. He registered that Peter’s behavior wasn’t as surprising to the other Boris, and huffed, "Hey now, it can be very surprising for me since I don’t socialize with him!"
"Well, she sort of was like that.. However she was a tad bit violent and targeted my tail whenever she got angry with me." Boris chuckled weakly, "Yeah I don’t think our Alices were any different…"
Sounds like this other Boris was not getting along well with his world's Peter, which is pretty amusing think about. The cat chuckled a little. "This new outsider of yours, has he met Peter yet? If he did, how did it go down?" If this outsider was telling this other Boris to go socialise with Pierce, is he telling the other Boris to go do the same for Peter? And what about Ace too? Now thats a curious thought.
"Indeed, indeed~" The memories of Alice crushing or pulling his tail were always easy to bring back up, since those were the times that made Boris realise that the outsider girl was not someone to take lightly of. It must be tough if you ever get on her bad side.
"Are you sick?"
"No, no we’re fine," a blatant and outright lie. Vivaldi, wasn’t in the least bit feeling good. She hadn’t been all day, but she wasn’t about to let anyone around her know it unless it came down to it. However, she was over heating something terrible among other things.
"Ten minutes … that’s not that long," she ignored his second question. "We thought we were asleep longer then that." Frowning she made herself as comfortable as possible while sitting up at the moment. "Hm, we doubt that was enough time for us to have any real good dreams, although we could be wrong," she shrugged and laughed lightly.
"Well, we guess we’ll see if it work then," she glanced at the bottle and looked at the back of it to see what exactly it did. "Yes, that looks like one that will work." Vivaldi wasn’t surprised when he felt her forehead to check her temperature, she wasn’t sure anything had truly changed considering she felt about the same, but she couldn’t really check her own temperature. "We feel a little better so perhaps it’s rest we need more then anything."
Well, ten minutes certainly felt like a long time for a cat who was just sitting there doing nothing else but pouting and watching over a sick person. Not that he's going to say that here. Boris just sighed and shrugged a little. The queen is fine, the medicine is there, everything is under control so far. The cat hoped that Vivaldi's condition is not going to worsen the next day, since that would mean that he would have to watch over her for a longer time, out of some kind of compulsion.
"Well, good luck, get well." Boris poured out two pills as prescribed by the bottle, placing those pills in the queen's hand before getting her a cup of warm water to go with the pills. "Your temperature is still feeling high, but its assuring to hear that you feel a little bit better. Its a good start." Crossing his arms, he waited for the queen to take her medicine. "After those pills, go take a proper sleep, properly on your bed. And sleep as long as you feel like it." Boris sounded as like he actually cared about the queen's condition, or he just wanted her to get well quickly out of some degree of impatience. Who knows?
Of course the cat was just messing with the clockmaker. It was pretty amusing after all, to see Julius pulling that plain, emotionless face no matter how obviously irked he was getting. Of course, Boris was not intending to make Julius snap or anything.
"Quite constructive criticism there~ I’m sure Gowland would love to hear it~" The cat chuckled. "Maybe parachutes could be provided. Or safety belts. Or we could measure carefully and place mattresses in strategic place. So, maybe, thinking about it, if you were to be ejected out from your work room due to your chair, you should approximately land on a spot 7 meters away from your work place right~?"
Boris often wondered what was going on in Julius’ head at the moment, since different people think differently when irked. Some blow up immediately, some pent up all the way until they blow up, some get over it pretty quickly, some pent up but get over it after a while, and some are too thick to be irked. Julius was certainly not thick, so how was the clockmaker handling being irked at the moment?
"Oh, gum is it?" Boris looked on the spot that Julius was sitting on. He can’t see the gum, since it was under the man, but it was pretty funny to think about. "So……. you stuck or something~?" Boris snickered a little. "Well, continuing to sit on it is only going to get it stuck to you more, so are you going to get up? Don’t worry, I’ll try not to laugh to obviously~" Boris got up and gently patted Julius out of sympathy, of sorts.
"I don’t think parachutes would be much better. The patron could panic and fail to pull the ripcord. Also, depending on the location of the bench, they could get stuck in trees or land on other rides." It could be a problem if they landed on the tracks of a roller-coaster. "Seat belts are probably the best safety measure. It’s always easier to prevent something from happening than to plan for everything that could happen once things go wrong." Julius’s eye twitched at the thought of being tossed out of the Clock Tower because of his chair. "…Depends on how much force the chair has and if the window’s open." He really didn’t want to think about this. However, he’d probably end up checking his chair once returning to work. Was he stuck? Julius wasn’t sure. He could probably get up if he wanted to…The problem was he was perfectly happy staying where he was, and not riding any rides Maybe he could use this to his advantage. “I don’t think I can get up.” The Clockmaker lied. “Besides, even if I did, I’d just stick to the next thing I sat on.” He hoped Boris wouldn’t mention the gum was on his coat, which he could easily remove.
"Well, that's true, but you are not like such patrons are you~? You always seemed like one who could maintain full control and composure regardless of what situation you are in, so you're definitely an ideal person to try out the rides~" Boris teased Julius a little. "Props taken on the seatbelt~ I'll be sure Gowland will take the idea seriously~ He'll put one on every ride, and your chairs~" Somehow, the joke of 'mildly' suggesting the clockmaker's furniture be turned into a ride never seemed to get old to the cat. Maybe its because Julius' constant perseverance to keep a straight face on was just so amusing.
"Oh, so you're stuck is it?" The cat chuckled a little at Julius. With Julius straight face always on as usual, it was hard to guess whether he was lying or not, whether he was enjoying the idea of being stuck here for the rest of the day or not, etc. Guessing Julius' state of mind was quite a riddle that Boris could not resist trying to take a crack at, or at the very least, to poke fun at. "Well, we can always arrange for you to get up and take a seat on the closest ride~ Which would get you stuck to the ride and ensure that you won't spend the rest of the day riding nothing~ Come to think of it, if you do get stuck on the ride, it would keep you more securely and safely in the ride for your comfort~" The cat snickered a little, gently pushing Julius by the side in an attempt to tilt the sitting clockmaker over, just to see if Julius was really that stuck or not. It would actually be funny if Julius was really stuck to the pavement though. At least its a bit better than him being stuck on his work chair.
{It's Fem!Blood} Brandy entered the Amusement Park with an absolutely awful mood, she had no desire to meet with Gowland and waste her time on useless things, but as a domain leader blue eyed was left with no choice. Suddenly her eyes caught a silhouette of Airay before the Cheshire happily appeared in front of the Hatteress. "Not you again, shorty..." Dupre grumbled.
(Hi Fem!Blood) Boris had nothing much to do today. Alice was away in Julius’ place, Pierce was in hiding, and the cat was not interested in test trying out one of Gowland’s newest rides in the making. Sitting unbelted in a vessel attached to a bungee cord does not sound exactly safe or fun at all. The cat was just loitering around the park randomly in boredom, until he saw a familiar figure entering the amusement park. Maybe today isn’t going to be so boring after.
Quickly moving towards this figure, he happily smiled as he approached this figure. “Why hello there~” Boris chuckled.
Vivaldi wasn’t sure how long she had been out but when she opened her eyes again the cat was back and from what she could tell he had been there for quite a while. Pushing herself up slowly she managed to sit up before leaning back against the couch for support at the moment.
"How long were we out?" She was curious to know considering he must have been sitting there quite a while. After all he looked like he was both comfy and very bored and that would suggest she was out longer then she would have liked to be.
"Oh did you manage to find it?" She was surprised she had even thought about the medicine in this moment considering she had been tired when they had discussed it. Hopefully, if he had found it, taking some would make her feel better.
Boris was pretty comfortable where he was sitting, on the carpeted floor of the queen's room. Though he was also very bored, just sitting there, watching and waiting for Vivaldi to wake up. When the queen wakes up, she'll find a pouty cat staring at her. Boris kept his eyes on Vivaldi as she sat up on the couch.
"About ten minutes. Did you have sweet dreams?" The cat grumbled a bit, his face not fitting his concerned-sounding words a lot, though Boris still had the intention of taking care of the queen still. Good thing it was just ten minutes, because he felt like falling asleep himself then if it wasn't for Vivaldi waking up now.
"Yeah. I think." Boris took out the bottle of medicine and got up, walking towards the queen and putting the bottle close to her face to let her take a look at it. Then he placed a hand on the queen's forehead to check her temperature. "How are you feeling now? Did the sleep make you feel better?"
The cat laughed softly when he saw Alice’s reaction to the tickle. That was pretty funny and cute. “Sorry, sorry, though that was pretty cute~”
Alice turned bright red, “Ill get you back sometime boris.. lets beat the heat. ” she gave a smile and went behind boris, ducking the cat underwater. “there.. pay back”.
Boris dived down when ducked underwater by the girl, and he quickly swam around her, popping up behind Alice and hugging her from behind. "Very playful today huh~?" He chuckled.

"I wouldn’t call it that. Do you find your role so entertaining you need nothing else?" His smile didn’t waver. If only Boris understood. But he wouldn’t, and wouldn’t care if he did. So it didn’t concern him to change a single movement.
"Mm..~ So! Then tell me one I’ve never heard!"
…
Ace ruffled through his coat and brought out a small pouch. “Money! Or perhaps you’d like something else? If you show me out, I can reward you better you know~”
"Well, nice to see that you need nothing else in your life." Boris muttered, wondering what sort of things goes around in Ace's seemingly dense head all the time. Well, not exactly dense, more of deranged. Boris frowned a bit, finding the knight's never changing smile to be pretty ominous.

Of course Ace is going to be disturbing about this. The cat was not surprised, though he honestly could have gone without Ace telling him about all the less then pleasant details of getting a joke. “You play riddle games with your victims as you try to kill them? Are you some game show host or something?” Boris huffed, not really wanting to have anything to do with the knight.

"Meh." Yup, a bookkeeper. Boris knew that, and if it was any other person saying this, he’d have told them that they got the answer right. Ace will not get it.

Boris laughed out rather audibly with his typical cat twist into it. “Nyahahahaha~” The clockmaker was really fun to tease, since the sight of Julius being obviously ticked under his stoic front was pretty amusing. Of course, the cat did not want to make Julius lose it completely, since that would lose the purpose of bringing the clockmaker into the Amusement Park to have fun. “Well, he was very enthusiastic about that idea~ At least he bothered to put some outside safety measures~” He pointed to a bench that was the ride, and a ring of mattresses can be seen circling around the ride. “‘Better then nothing.’ That’s what he said.” Boris gave Julius a rather hearty pat on the back. “I do know that I did have pleasant memories~” Pleasant memories of witnessing Julius losing his cool in the first quarter of the ride. Such an event in truly unforgettable. Anyways, it seems that the clockmaker has decided that all seats in the Amusement Park are deemed too dangerous, and has decided to sit on the ground instead. Fair enough I guess, though the cat was really amused by how scared Julius had gotten of the seats here, all the way until he resorted to sitting on the floor instead. He chuckled a bit. “What’s wrong? You’ve got that face on. You know, that face you always show me every time I show up in your office~” Boris sat on the floor next to Julius, wondering what’s up.
As Boris laughed, Julius wondered if the cat was serious about the swivel chairs or simply messing with him; considering the Clockmaker’s serious disposition, it wasn’t hard. Julius looked at the mattresses. “The ride goes too high for those to be effective.” He was pretty sure the only thing the mattresses offered was a softer place than the ground to break one’s neck. “Besides, if someone gets ejected, they’re more likely to land further away from the base of the ride.” His upper half jerked forward when Boris ‘patted’ his back. Of course the cat would find his weak constitution amusing. Then again, Julius couldn’t really hold that against Boris; he imagined most role hole holders would be at least mildly entertained by the change. Besides, he doubted the other meant any ill will. Julius didn’t want to admit the reason he made the face he had, but realized he couldn’t hide it. At some point Boris was bound to pull him up and to another part of the park; he was sure the Cheshire Cat would notice something stuck to his butt. Flatly, he answered, “I sat in gum.”
Of course the cat was just messing with the clockmaker. It was pretty amusing after all, to see Julius pulling that plain, emotionless face no matter how obviously irked he was getting. Of course, Boris was not intending to make Julius snap or anything.
"Quite constructive criticism there~ I'm sure Gowland would love to hear it~" The cat chuckled. "Maybe parachutes could be provided. Or safety belts.
He can't see the gum, since it was under the man, but it was pretty funny to think about. "So....... you stuck or something~?" Boris snickered a little. "Well, continuing to sit on it is only going to get it stuck to you more, so are you going to get up? Don't worry, I'll try not to laugh to obviously~" Boris got up and gently patted Julius out of sympathy, of sorts.
"That’s fine, do whatever you need to," the queen by this point didn’t care. As truly she hadn’t felt this sick in quite some time. She was starting to question had she had managed to cover it up for the first while of being together with the cat. Deciding not to dwell on it however she closed her eye’s and allowed herself to relax while she waited for the cat to return back with whatever medicine he brought back with him.
She occasionally opened her eyes blinking a little to try and remain awake, however, over time that became less and less as the queen actually fell asleep on the couch where she was now resting.
Boris arrived to the supposed medicine room pretty quickly thanks to the map and his ability. Despite his quickness, the next challenge now was to find the medicine cabinet. This was not too big a problem, since the room was pretty small, and he soon found a cabinet filled with medicine bottles after a while of digging through. Next step, finding the right medicine. He carefully looked through the labels of each and every bottle. Medicine for headache, medicine for sore throat, medicine for sprains, medicine for stubbed toe, etc. Eventually, he found the medicine for flu, at the far back.
Confident that he had the right bottle, he quickly traveled back to where the queen was. All this took him ten minutes, but that amount of time was enough for the cat to come back finding the queen sleeping. Now how is he going to do this?
Since sleep and rest was very important for a sick person, Boris decided not to interrupt the queen, just sitting the the floor next to the queen and keeping an eye on her. Being a cat, he can do this all night in nocturnal activeness.

Ace waved a hand dismissively at Boris’ less-than-happy expression to see the knight. His own expression was a bit more stupidly excited (not uncommon). “I saved this one since I last heard it! I held a guy to the tip of my sword to hear this one. It’s great! I almost considered not killing him for it!”
…
"The answer is—! Dum dum dum… a bookkeeper! Did you know it? I bet you didn’t! Ahahaha~" (/annoying laughter)
…
"So… Can you show me to path to the amusement park?"
Of course Ace is going to be disturbing about this. The cat was not surprised, though he honestly could have gone without Ace telling him about all the less then pleasant details of getting a joke. "You play riddle games with your victims as you try to kill them? Are you some game show host or something?" Boris huffed, not really wanting to have anything to do with the knight.
...
"Meh." Yup, a bookkeeper. Boris knew that, and if it was any other person saying this, he'd have told them that they got the answer right. Ace will not get it.
...
"Give me a good reason to." Boris plainly replied.
