The male was cleaning up blood from his younger brother’s face. It was obvious that Preston got into a fight, but why? And how? This confused him and he wanted every detail. What did you get into?
This was suppose to be a fun trip for Dallas. His younger brother, Preston, was out for the summer, and thought it was a great idea to travel to Johto before the school year started back up. Now that wasn’t the case. While he was out getting food for the two, Preston explored the shadier parts of Goldenrod City. By the time the older brother came back, the 14-year-old was beaten up. Badly.
“SooMe cguuys...” The young boy cried out between tears. This pained Dallas. What sick fucks would beat up a child? If Dallas wasn’t worried about Pressy’s well-being, he would turn the whole city upside down looking for the people responsible and give them the same treatment. “Thhey also stole m-m-my Pokemon...”
Hold on a minute. The group of people who had beaten up Preston also stole the poor kid’s Pokemon? Dallas was already mad, but hearing this made him furious. He was seeing red and desperately needed to calm down before regretting something.
“It’s okay, Press.” The blue-haired trainer comforted his brother with hugs and jokes. Basically anything to make the boy smile or laugh. “Everything’s going to be okay. Let’s get you cleaned up and patched up.”
After a few hours, Preston was sleeping and Dallas was in the hotel room’s bathroom washing the blood off his own hands. Sure his brother was feeling better, but Dallas knew that the boy’s face was going to be bruised for some time. Mom is definitely going to kill me. At least it’s not bleeding...
Later that night, Dallas set out what he originally planned to do; turn Goldenrod upside down looking for the people responsible. Of course, Dallas didn’t want to leave Preston unattended -- in case they followed and wanted a second round -- so he left both Zoroark and Mightyena in the room for protection.
It didn’t take long for Dallas to find someone possibly involved in the earlier event. They were located near one of the warehouses, acting suspicious. Dallas didn’t care if there were others with them, but he wanted to make sure him and this stranger were alone. At least for a couple a minutes. Once he made sure they were alone, the male made his move.
He walked out of the shadows, cracking his knuckles. “A little Spearow told me that you like beating on little kids. Why not pick a fight with someone who could fight back?”
Another harsh winter seemed to be moving in, as she struggled to hold her balance in the howling winds. Her backpack seemed to be a lot heavier than usual, though it could just be the fatigue from traveling for so long. Her destination? A Poke Center of some sort, or somewhere warm.
Cursing herself, she swiped the pile of snow flakes that were accumulating on her facemask. Regretting that she turned down the ski goggles from a wares shop, she sighed. Pudge finally went back into his ball, after suffering in the cold with her. If it came down to it, she would stop and set up camp in a brush.
Her goal was to be home before the holidays, as a surprise for her mother. No matter how many times she traveled through Pewter City, the mountains always seemed to give her a run for her money. She had once compared mountains to the devils domain, to which Trace had laughed. Frowning, she wondered if he was coming back home, as well. It had been weeks since their last run in, yet she hoped that he would at least call.
Pewter shouldn’t be too much further.
Continuing her battle against the weather, she finally saw the lights from the city ahead. Sighing in relief, she felt her pace quicken. Some hot food, and a warm place to sleep would be nice after that trek.
But much to her dislike, the sign on the front door indicated that they were closed for maintenance. It would take her another couple of hours, if not longer, to even reach Viridian. Groaning, she sank to her knees.
“Awwwww, c’mon. I seriously think Arceus is punishing me for something.”
He was suppose to spend the week traveling through the region and seeing all the sights that made Kanto Kanto, however, a freak snow storm caused his plans to change. Due to the harsh winds, and cold weather, the Pewter City Police enforced a curfew for everyone — including tourist and traveling trainers.
Everyone was suppose to head to the nearest Pokemon Center. Unfortunately, the one in Pewter City was closed for maintenance. Luckily for ever, the city had set up a make-shift shelter at the museum for anyone caught in the blizzard. Too bad not everyone got the memo.
Dallas was wondering why the trainer he was watching was just standing outside the center and not making their way towards the museum. Feeling somewhat guilty that he didn’t stop her when they passed each other, the blue-haired male zipped up his jacket more and walked over to her.
“Hey kid,” He said, trying to make the girl heard him over the roaring winds. “There’s a shelter at the museum. Let’s go and get you warmed up before you freeze to death.”
Hello everyone! After taking a hiatus from — and missing — roleplaying, I’d figured I’d start back up in a familiar environment. Anyway, with that aside, for those that don’t know me, I’m D (or David, your choice), and I’ll be playing this Big BrotherlyTM dork punk guy Dallas. I’ve played him for a few years now (he was originally an Aqua Grunt in this very group a year or so ago) and is by far one of my favorite OCs of mine. So, with that being said, I’ll post an open shortly, but like this post for a random starter. I’ll be capping at 3.
