gojo makes you forget your umbrella

a/n: hi hi !! gojo fluff because i miss my angel boy !!! i hope u guys enjoy hehe :3 might be ooc hold the tomatoes plz!

every night you tell yourself you won't let satoru keep you up late, and every night you give in when he stares at you with the slightest pout on his glossy lips and pleading, gleaming eyes.

"only five minutes and then i'm going to sleep. I have to be up early tomorrow," you say sternly, biting back a smile when satoru crushes you in his arms, kissing the top of your head repeatedly.

five minutes turns to ten, then thirty, and before you know its already two in the morning. but incessant giggles leave your lips as the two of you talk about anything that comes up, burying your face in the crook of his neck in embarrassment when he recalls the time you drunk texted him before the two of you became official.

the next morning goes just as you'd predicted it would. wrestling yourself out of your lovers obnoxiously tight grip on you and whispering harshly about how you were already running late.

"satoru I need to get ready, let go of me!" he only smiles lazily, cracking one eye open as his hair sticks in every direction, finally loosening his grip when you scowl at him.

"okay fine, leave your boyfriend sad and lonely at home," his voice is slightly muffled from his cheek being squished against the pillow. you roll your eyes, smoothing his hair slightly before heading to the restroom.

"my sad and lonely boyfriend needs to get up and go to his job too, the higher ups hate you enough as is, and I think Yaga would appreciate you being only 30 minutes late as opposed to 3 hours" you call from the restroom, satoru scoffs quietly, rolling onto his back and stretching.

satoru gets up, pulling on his sweats as he makes you coffee and a small breakfast, handing it you with a smile when you practically run out the door. "have a good day sweetheart," he mumbles, catching your wrist and pressing a soft kiss to your lips.

he sees your umbrella as you walk out the door, but satoru is nothing if not opportunistic. and this was the perfect excuse to show up to bring you home after work.

with a sigh you finally head to exit the building, frowning slightly when you see how hard it was raining. you rummage through your bag, brows furrowed when you come up empty.

"there's no way," you mumble, setting your bag on a bench and quickly searching through it again.

“watcha lookin’ for?” the familiar timbre makes your head whip up, a smile already on your face when you’re met with familiar crystalline eyes peering at you over his sunglasses.

“what are you doing here?” you breathe out, meeting his quick strides as he engulfs you in his arms, expensive cologne filling your senses as he kisses the top of your head.

“someone was in such a rush they forgot their umbrella. I can't risk my pretty girl getting wet, that’s an indoor activity,” he snickers, you smack him upside the head, his smile only widens.

satoru smiles when you lean into his side, fingers intwining with his. you stop before you can exit the building into the pouring rain. you turn to face your lover, looking at his empty hand and then back up at him, snowy bangs barely covering his furrowed brows.

“everything okay sweets?”

“satoru, where’s the umbrella?” your blank expression makes him giggle, leaning down and placing the a gentle kiss to your lips.

“my silly girl,” he mumbles, another chaste kiss to your cheek before standing up straight and tugging you out the front door.

“satoru!” you shriek, fully expecting to be drenched from the torrential downpour, only for the fat raindrops to never hit you. instead, they slide off an invisible force inches away from your skin. your eyes widen and mouth falls open as you turn to your lover.

“guess you forget who you’re with, huh?” the cocky smirk on his face makes you roll your eyes.

"you're so annoying," you smile, satoru chuckles, sweeping you off your feet and carrying you bridal style to you car.

"you're so deeply in love with me," he grins, loving the way your heart rate spikes and your cheeks grow warmer.

when the two of you get home, you pretend not to see him throwing you umbrella in the trash, a small smile on his face as he rejoins you on the couch.

"the forecast says its gonna rain the rest of the week, how about I pick you up after work?" satoru's eyes sparkle as he awaits your response, you bite back your laughter.

"what if you're off on a mission or doing something important?" you reply, knowing there was no way out of this. satoru rolls his eyes, letting his head land in your lap. your fingers immediately find their way into his hair.

"sweetheart," his voice drops an octave lower, you can't help but grin at the sound of it.

"guess ill be waiting for my knight in shining armor after work this week," you hum, satoru smiles, taking your hand in his and pressing a gentle kiss to your knuckles.

"always."

a/n: hi hi !! its my first time writing for gojo in i think like a year ish ? so im a bit rusty on his character i hope this isnt toooo ooc !! please let me know what u guys think :3 i will try and write more for him :D

satoru gojo doesn’t hate many things in life, his list is quite short. but at the very top of his list? he fucking abhors the fact that you don’t live with him.

he frowns when you kiss him goodbye at the end of every date, pouts when you pack your clothes the morning after sleeping over and whines when you tell him his least favorite five words.

“i have to go home.”

“sweets this is your home,” he frowns, his fingers still intertwined with yours as he pulls you closer to him, placing a soft kiss to your cheek. you can’t help but smile at his words.

“satoru,” you sigh out, he huffs at your tone, placing a sloppier kiss to your jawline before burying his face in the crook of your neck.

“can’t you just move in already? how many more times do i have to ask?” his words are muffled against your skin, his snowy hair tickles your neck as he places another gentle kiss on you.

“for starters you’ve asked me once,” you state, satoru grumbles at your words, “and plus i don’t wanna seem like a leech.” satoru immediately strands up straighter as your words, mouth slightly open in shock and brows furrowed.

“sweetheart.” his voice is deeper than you’re used to, gaze more intense than you ever remember it being. you swallow harshly, trying your hardest to keep your eyes on his gleaming blue ones.

“you realize everything I have is yours? i don’t care about anything if it’s not for you.” your eyes lower to his chest, he’s quick to put his finger under your chin, forcing you to meet his gaze.

“i bought this house because you liked it. i decorated with that art piece because you said it would look good. we went shopping for bedsheets together. you bought me houseplants!” you try and protest he cuts you off with an ‘ah!’

“you have access to my bank account and have my black card. i want you to rely on me, i want you to have what’s mine. you could never be a leech, because I’ve already given you all that’s mine.” he smiles down at you for a moment, dimples adorning his cheeks as he thinks for a moment, “well almost everything.”

you furrow your brows, “what else is there to give?” you almost regret the question as soon as you ask it, a small giggle leaves satoru’s lips before speaks again.

“just my last name, but i already have that planned out,” he says simply, as if it was just another item to be added to a grocery list.

you don’t say anything, eyes widening as you realize his implications. your hands fly to your mouth in shock, “satoru!” your heart beats erratically in your chest, he was going to propose?

“I meant it when i said you’re the only one for me, sweetheart,” he places sloppy wet kisses to your face, finally slotting his lips against yours. you reciprocate quickly, melting into his touch.

“so? will you move in with me?” he mumbles the question against your lips. you smile, pressing a soft peck to his lips before pulling away and looking at his hopeful expression.

“‘course i will angel boy,” you smile, heart fluttering at the way his eyes sparkle at your words. his arms curl around you tighter, laughing in excitement as he pulls you on top of him.

satoru moved everything of yours into the house the next day. he had added your name on the lease of the house when he first bought it.

satoru feels he phone vibrate in his pocket, halting his movements and letting the curse at hand run at him and fruitlessly try to attack him.

sweetheart <33 now

do you still love me?

there’s a frown on his face as he reads the text, locking his phone and putting in his pocket. “it’s been fun, but i gotta go” he smiles, flicking his wrist as the curse in front of him is demolished in an instant. the world around him warps and soon enough he’s standing outside of your shared home, slipping his shoes off and frantically looking for you.

“sweetheart?” he calls out, B-lining to the bedroom when he finds the living room empty. “baby I’m home,” he announces once more, about to call out to you again when he rounds the corner and finds you crying in bed. “oh my lover what’s gotten into that pretty head of yours?”

satoru can feel his chest tighten at the sight of you, your eyes watery and wide as you stare up at him, a prominent frown on your lips as you try and hold back your tears. “what happened are you okay?” he doesn’t hesitate as he take you in his arms, pressing your body against his and rubbing your back.

you don’t say anything, mostly because you didn’t trust your voice but also because you didn’t know what to say.

‘i just over think and convive myself you don’t love me!’ didn’t exactly roll off the tongue and made you seem like an insecure loser, you thought.

“i don’t know,” you mumble out, sniffling as you push away from satoru to wipe your face.

“you know i love you right? you’re the love of my life” his blue eyes are laser focused on your expressions, you can’t meet his gaze “sweetheart,” his voice is softer, index finger moving under your chin and tilting your head gently upward.

“i love you, with every fiber of my being,” he pauses and gauges your reaction, the small frown on your lips softening, “every second that passes and every moment I’m with you i fall in love with you over and over again.”

“why?” you mumble, your eyes water again, avoiding his gaze and moving away from him, your head down as you stared at the stray sock in the floor.

“why?” satoru feels the wind knocked out of him, why wouldn’t he love you?

“yeah why would you even love me? I’m just-”

“perfect” he breathes out, cutting you off before you could talk down on yourself. “you’re perfect for me sweets, you’re my other half. you’re the person who helped me love, the person who never fails to make me smile, the one i miss the second i leave the house, the only one who helps me calm down, the only one who understands my shitty explainstions,” he pauses for a second, letting out s breathy laugh and shaking his head.

“I could go on and on about you, about how smart and kind and funny and beautiful you are, but i think we’d be here all year.”

“i have time” you tease softly, wiping away stray tears and sniffling. satoru all but beams at you, quickly shutting him up when he starts listing every little thing about you.

a comfortable silence envelopes the two of you as he takes your hand in his. his calloused fingers run over your softer hands, playing with your fingers before intertwining them with his own. he opens his mouth and closes it quickly, ears going red and he hears his heartbeat in his ears.

“you’re the only one i want in this life and the next.” you whip your head up at the words, this time satoru’s gaze doesn’t meet yours. (he was too busy trying to calm himself down)

“really?” satoru can hear the smile in your voice, he looks up quickly, relieved to see your eyes shining at him. he nods nervously, smiling back at you.

“i mean it with everything i am,” he whispers, squeezing your hands softly.

you waste no time in pulling him into you, lips crashing against each others roughly. Satoru lets go of your hands, placing one gently on your cheek and the other around your wait to pull you closer. you can’t help but bite his bottom lip softly, grinning into the kiss when he whimpers softly.

your lover scampers off the shower after a couple more minutes of stolen kisses and soft laughter, returning to find you dozing off on his side of the bed. he joins you under the sheets quietly.

the bed dips under his weight, causing you to stir a bit, “angel?” you mumble.

“I’m right here,” he whispers, quickly settling behind you and pulling you up against him. “get some rest my sweet girl,” his honey voice is enough to make your eyes flutter closed.

you explain to satoru the next morning about your overthinking and the ugly evil voice in your head that wins over the rational part of your mind. he places a blueberry pancake in front of of you, kissing your temple as he sits next to you.

“I’ll make sure to squash that evil little man in your mind anytime he dares show his face,” satoru assures you.

“i just don’t wanna seem- annoying, i don’t want you to see me as some chore you have to get to” you mumble, lazily cutting the pancake in front of you.

“loving you isn’t a chore” his voice is firm and it makes you sit up straighter, “I’m so privileged and lucky to be able to love you, if it were up to me I’d be at your beck and call every second of every day,” you roll your eyes at him a smile on your face as you do so.

the voice doesn’t make an appearance for a long time after that, satoru doesn’t give it a chance to. you’re too busy being showered in compliments and gifts, your lover never passing up a chance to do things for you, taking you on dates and showing you just how much he loves you.

Aaa hello! I'm sorry for this being so random, but I just saw your post about possibly making a new blog and just wanted to let you know that, whatever decision you make, we'll be here for you ^^ Your writing has been such a comfort to me for the past 2ish (I think) years and I've been coming back to re-read your fics whenever I have a bad day or just randomly remember one. Anyways, all of this to say that I (and I'm sure others here) wish you good luck if you do start a new blog :] I do have a quick question though, if that's ok- do you plan on moving your current fics over to that blog or keeping them here?? I'm just wondering so I know to look for a new username when looking for them in the possible future o.o
