Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog on set for a Sesame Street News segment, 1975.
Frank Oz performing Fozzie Bear for "John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together", first aired December 5, 1979.
Big Bird back in 1970! Before his legs/feet were fleeced. I do like the matted-down dirtier feather look... appears to be more organic which is nice.
25 years ago today "The Jim Henson Hour" aired!
Jerry Nelson performing Lew Zealand in "The Muppet Movie" 1979. Notice how Jerry's lower jaw pertrudes while he voices Lew.
Richard Hunt with Jane Henson, 1975.

Mushmellon puppet
Mushmellon puppet, originally created by the late Jane Henson in 1955. The puppet, whose eyes were the precursor to those of Oscar the Grouch, now lives in the Smithsonian.
Original Miss Piggy prototype puppet, she was originally named Piggy Lee, later changed to Miss Piggy. Piggy has gone through some dramatic build changes through the years from her humble beginnings. She reached her peak in both performance and visible structure in "The Great Muppet Caper".
Muppeteer Richard Hunt with his alter-ego Scooter, circa 1976.
#JimHenson and #KermitTheFrog, circa 1983.
Jim Henson & Frank Oz discussing scene details on Sesame Street set, circa 1970.
Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog on The Muppet Show set circa 1977.
Rare behind the scenes photo of Frank Oz performing Grover on a Sesame Street insert skit, mid 1980's. Frank was an extremely focused and serious performer, he gave each performance 100%.
A fantastic pic of Frank Oz being directed by Sesame Street's Jon Stone, circa 1982. Two brilliant professionals at work!
This show was recorded near the end of Edgar Bergen's life. He was the grand master. Anyone that does vent today was influenced by someone that was influence...
