I completed my first art/fic trade with @purity-ringuwu!! She drew me a beautiful family portrait of me, Cloud, and our son Graceson and in turn I wrote about Mimi and Zack on their disastrous but first date! Scroll down for a snippet of the story, and Purity has the entire fic posted on her toyhouse!

Her tears fell as Zack gently caressed her face and pressed a kiss to her head. 

“Please let me love you Mimi.” He whispered softly. 

It was finally then that Mimi gave in. She nodded slowly as she put her arms around him and accepted that he loved her more than a friend. “...Okay. I…love you too Zack.”

That was the moment they finally became a couple. Of course Mimi had to keep it hidden from her mother, but as long as she kept painting and acting like the princess her mother wanted her to be, she shouldn’t have suspected anything.

“Well I’m glad we could sit outside then.” Zack grinned. They were about to sit down when he quickly remembered that he should pull out the chair for Mimi. So he did. And accidentally stepped on his own foot in the process. 

Once they were seated they began looking over the menu. Zack realized he could hardly read the menu as the names of the foods were in french cursive. Not only that but the table was set with three forks, three spoons, a knife, and two plates. He had absolutely no idea what to do with any of them. 

Mimi however was engrossed in the menu as Zack stared at the silverware. “Let’s get an italian salad and cheese behemoth rolls to start with! Then we can order whatever we want for the main course and for dessert…maybe we could have Kupoberry cheesecake?” 

“Sure that sounds great!” Zack replied cheerfully. “I eat anything honestly so you can tell me what tastes good here.” 

Mimi nodded as she sat the menu down. The waiter came by soon and took their orders and brought out the drinks and appetizers. 

Mimi giggled as she began mixing the salad and Zack picked up the fork. “Zack, that's the wrong fork. And the bowl is for the salad, not the second plate.”
