Maybe it's no coincidence that I really love movies like Everything Everywhere All At Once, I Saw the TV Glow, They Cloned Tyrone and more recently I Love Boosters. The surrealism feels so relatable to me as someone with schizophrenia because the world suddenly bending and not making sense is how I experience life. I know these types of movies can be distressing to some schizo-spec people, but for me they feel more true to my life than other movies and I really enjoy them for that reason.
