I want to ask advice about flowers if that’s okay
You see my sister was looking for some indoor plants (I’m not sure if that’s the right term) and I thought maybe you could recommend something?
Our grandmother always brings some flowers from outside to “make house smell better” or whatever and we always feel bad for those plants so maybe if we have some “good smelling” flowers she’ll stop doing that

Now, I don’t have any flowering plants? So I’m not sure I can help you in that regard, but I have a lot of house plants.
If you’re a beginner and want something easy, my recommendation would be a snake plant — they’re low maintenance and great for air purification — as well as any variation of pothos. Pothos are my favourite plants and soo easy to keep and propagate! Heart shaped philodendrons are pretty easy to care for as well, and i have a pilea plant that has been with me for like 6+ years at this point so that’s where I’d start!

Remember 4 months ago when the CEO of this platform harassed and chased a trans woman off this website just for posting her transition timeline, then chased her to other social media platforms to continue harassing her, and threatened to call the FBI if she continued disputing the multiple dubious terminations of her blogs that did not violate tumblr's terms of service in any way? And despite tumblr staff insisting that the CEO was acting against their interests, the broad transmisogyny evident in the site's culture and moderation policy has still not been adequately addressed?
Remember that staff is continuing to nuke the blogs of trans women even after all of this. Remember this post when they call this site the queerest place on the internet again this month

What is even there to say? I can't keep waking up in a world where I read the news and I see schoolchildren bombed, millions of people displaced, old ladies carrying their cats and while their houses get turned into rubble, the waste of industry and human talent into bombs that shoot down other bombs.
Am I insane? what the fuck is going on?
Even the most just war of liberation is painful and regrettable, but you well know I'm not talking about that, we're watching first world countries sell weapons to feed endless war and just bombing targets like if it's a reflex act just what they do, the complete surrender of any hope of building a better world or coexisting and we're all treating this like it's just the natural state of things.
I'm sorry if I'm being dramatic but genuinely, get more anti war right now.
Warfare is not an inherent state of humanity, in any case, and it can and it will be abolished. I'm tired of people treating this like it's just the weather or nature. We know the material reasons behind war and they don't hold up and won't hold up forever.
