Will rolls his eyes and walks over to Mike. He picks up his yellow toothbrush, still glaring at Mike. 

As he squeezes the toothpaste onto the brush, he opens the cupboard under the sink and pulls out a faded blue toothbrush. 

“Here, you left it here like...” he trails off.

we're almost done with chapter 4 so likely to post this week but yeah its going slow

omg ever since i started writing the fic my english grades are improving.

Will glances over his shoulder just to ensure it’s safe before fully turning. He’s now wearing a similar pair of sweatpants paired with a sweater that hangs slightly loose at one shoulder where the collar is stretched, revealing just a glimpse of his collarbone and the freckles that pattern his skin.

“Oh.” 

Mike nods, face red and blotchy, and lips swollen from crying. He chokes a little, before putting his head back on Will’s shoulder. They stay like this for a couple of minutes. 

“Can we promise to never stop talking again, regardless of any confessions or hidden feelings?” Will says eventually. He places his head on top of Mike’s. 

“Yeah. I promise.” Mike croaks.
