CHESTNUT – Would your muse ever participate in a sector 002 protest/riot?

Should it pertain to her, yes. Though, Nyaa would prefer to stay out of political situations, she feels it would skew others’ view of her if what her personal beliefs were brought to question.

Favorite sector

Besides the obvious answer of sector 4, as it’s where she’s housed. Her other favorite sector would be sector 5, due to all the shops.

Least favorite

Sector 2 is up there, due to the fact it smells bad and seems to be the problem sector at the moment. Just look at all the fire.

PINE – How difficult is it for your muse to navigate Sector 001?

Nyaa finds it unnecessarily difficult to traverse that sector, so she prefers to not visit there unless absolutely necessary. It’d probably take her an hour or two to get to where she needed to go due to it changing ever so often.

With no particular bias, Nyaa would feel like oo6 would be more of a disaster magnet due to everyone believing it’s a safe place.

Not so much unique to her world, but, she’s heard there’s some good oden sold somewhere. Though, she’s yet to find it.

Her new phone now in hand, she idly played some sort of cat collector game, though quickly grew bored of it. As mobile games could only be so entertaining.

Did it…really take that much time to be an idol? Karamatsu wasn’t exactly so sure if this was something that was worth it, but it definitely seemed like as if it was something Nyaa-chan enjoyed doing. He wouldn’t complain, he just wasn’t sure if stressing over the smallest of things was worth being an idol.

“Oh, you’d look absolutely lovely no matter what looked like.”

He assured her, waving her off in hopes it would clear up any anxiety she might’ve been feeling.

“Though, if I may suggest…you’re pretty well known here,” He takes note to the people surrounding them, who seem to be looking at Nyaa-chan with an extremely excited look. “But you don’t need to get back into the idol business right away. Why not just take a break, or something? We could go to the beach and just relax for a day, if you want.”

“I never thought about that...” She taped her cheek, in thought, before exclaming, “The beach it is!” Then she stopped, “...Uhm, where is the beach anyways, I don’t think I passed by it since I’ve been here.”

“Also, don’t you need...beach clothes for the beach? I don’t think my idol uniform is exactly comfortable for the beach.” Though, it did sound like a good idea, the girl was having second thoughts on the beach. Maybe another time? Unless Karamatsu had a bright idea.

Yuka herself wandered the streets with empty eyes, head so full of thoughts she could barely focus on anything else. That included her path, riddled with citizens who floated past unnoticed, it was only a matter of time she’d collide with one.

“Aaaaah!?!– Oh!” Initially rigid with the intent to defend, Yuka relaxes immediately upon sight of the girl she’d walked into. Pink hair, bored expression… she was cute, if not tired looking.

“I-I’m so sorry! Did I hurt you anywhere, m-ma'am…?”

“Oh, it’s nothing!” Nyaa quickly replied, assuring the other girl she had walked into that she was just fine.

“If anything, I’m just wandering around aimlessly, don’t worry about it.” She wafted the air around her with her gloved hand, signalling Yuka that it wasn’t really a big deal, well that’s what she thought.

“I’m glad to see I’m not the only cute girl in this city though..!”

“Yeah, there’s plenty of strange people that live here. But, it’s alright!” He laughs as he says this - he honestly didn’t mind the amount of people who lived in the Hive. Sure, there were plenty of interesting characters…but what mattered most was their personality. There was a part of him that couldn’t help but to be curious, but he could tell that she probably didn’t want to talk about it. Not at the moment, anyways.

…Nyaathing.

The joke certainly didn’t fly over his head, but hearing a pun from a well known idol (back in Akatsuka and to some degree, here-) was the last thing he was expecting. Was…he supposed to expect it? He wasn’t sure. Idols were weird. But it was Choromatsu’s interest, he didn’t mind it too much.

“Well…”

He gave it a little bit of thought. This was something that was more in Choromatsu’s alley - not his! But it could’ve been worth a shot…and hey, who knew. Maybe he could get his brother a free, private concert!

“Sure, I guess? But just for a little bit, to see if it’s something I’d want to do. I’m pawsitive that you’ll get through the city just fine on your own without me.” He made emphasis on the word paw, winking at the girl as he said it.

If there was one thing she hated, it was terrible puns, that didn’t come out of her mouth. Though, since he did just agree to test the waters of being an idol manager, she’d let it slip.

“It’s not so much I can’t make it on my own. It’s more of the workload! If I were to do it all myself, let’s just say I’d look like I got hit by a freight train.” The young idol shrugged, “And being in my twenties, well, that’s not a very pretty look for a young lady, don’t you agree?”

Though when he winked at her, she just went blank faced and resisted the urge to roll her eyes. She wasn’t sure how well they would actually get along. She wasn’t one to start altercations, so she figured Karamatsu would just be a nuisance if anything.

“Hah, I don’t blame you for not thinking anyone didn’t know you. I only heard those whispers when we stopped talking for a few seconds.” He put a hand to his chin and thought to himself. The citizens were starting to act a bit strangely, weren’t they? A lot more had definitely been bumping into him and disregarding him - it reminded him a lot of home, oddly enough.

Though, he’s snapped out of his thoughts as he hears her voice suddenly address him and ask him a few questions.

“Yeah, indefinitely would be the best word to describe it, I’d think. You can get sent back at any random point in time, or you’re here forever!” He snapped his fingers as he spoke, pulling it away from his chin.

“..An idol manager?”

That was more in Choromatsu’s division - not his! But he can’t help but think of the time he helped Totoko gather some attention. Did…that count as something? He absolutely had no plan of getting a job so soon - especially after he had just been fired from his recent one…

“Uh… well, I helped Totoko-chan get some attention when she was just starting out. Does that count as something? Are you telling me that I should be your manager?”

“Well, I mind as well make the most of this, then...” She mused to herself, rocking back and forth on her heels, “Especially with whom I have as roommates?” Nyaa added, wondering if she should she even get into that. Her apartment certainly was full of distinctive characters.

“Well, it’s certainly better than nyaathing!” The cat girl practically chirped her reply, “I’m not going to force you to or anything. But I figured since we’re from the same area, that would be a good place to start.” Nyaa simply shrugged, “The hardest thing really is merchandising, but that’s not really the most important thing, the concerts are what matters.” She gave him a quick synopsis, figuring he’d say no, but it was worth a shot.
