not me going through my ancient youtube playlist for misc songs and stuff and finding this in the list....

helped my dad at a flea market today, and i just got home. it was kinda fun, we were mostly just selling garbage things that weren't broken ( basically, my dad just wanted to get rid of everything, he didn't really care how much he sold for ), but like.... there was this one lady that straight up told her kid to steal one of our things and put it in her pocket?? my dad didn't notice, but i did. and ngl, i was so shocked of what i was seeing that it legit took me a few moments to process it and by the time i told my dad, the lady and her kid had already walked off.

like, it's not about the thing they took ( we honestly couldn't even figure out what it was anyways ), and it's not even necessarily that it happened at all ( even tho that sucks ofc ), but more so the fact that the lady just straight up told her kid to do it??? absolutely no shame whatsoever, and i'm pretty sure she saw me looking at her as it happened.

i have some ideas for a genshin verse....

he was born in inazuma to an unremarkable civilian family, but now lives in sumeru. he left after realizing that he didn't fit into inazuma's idea of eternity and unchanging ideals; before the lockdown of the entire country happened.

he runs his own little shop for genius invokation tcg, is known as a 'phantom duelist'; rarely plays publicly, but when he does, he wins through absurd, seemingly impossible setups. students study his matches like case studies - some believes he 'predicts the future', while others think he just understands probability at an inhuman level.

he's got a dendro vision - electro felt like the most natural choice, but dendro felt like a better fit because his mind works like a network-branching possibilities, and it symbolically ties to strategy and foresight. it manifested during a match where he turned a guaranteed loss into a win by trusting intuition over logic. it was a subtle and quiet realization.

... and then something about him being in the possession of an old relic from sumeru with an old spirit trapped inside, hence why he wanted to go to sumeru of all places to begin with. a relic that is, perhaps, associated with irminsul and its memories.

"Yuugi!"

Jounouchi sweeped Yuugi into a hug, bright and beaming. "I won! Holy crap, I won!" He won his first local tournament. It was a small accomplishment, but it didn't matter. Because he won all by himself. He's so happy he could cry.

"Come on! Let's celebrate!"

He barely had the time to let out a joyful laughter as he was suddenly pulled into a hug; the breath in his lungs sweeping out in one go. Jounochi's glee was absolutely radiating, and for good reason too! Yuugi recalls his first local tournament win; the thrill of the game, the climatic end... realizing you've overcome any doubt you might have about yourself.

Jounochi definitely deserved this; and his happiness reflected in Yuugi's own wide ear-to-ear grin. “ You did it, Jou! ” Yuugi beamed at his friend, returning the hug, patting him on the back. “ I knew you could do it! It was really close there for a second, but you pulled right through. ”

Letting out a gleeful chuckle, Yuugi withdrew from the hug, giving Jou's shoulder another pat. “ This totally calls for a celebration. If you wanna grab something to eat, it's all my treat!~ ”
