[about the kiss]Ā āIt is very true, it is a real thing.Ā We actually really wanted it to be in the movie.Ā They gave us a private screening just for the girls, it was really special and we were all crying because it was the last one.Ā But we were all anxiously waiting for the final scene when everybody goes off and goes to their respective loversā¦ we were hoping it wouldnāt be an outtake.ā
āItās very steamy, Iām not gonna lieā¦ it was our last day of filming for the third movie and most of the girls had wrapped for the dayā¦ And so we were all back in, I think, Chrissieās trailer and we were all celebrating and we were having margaritaās and just enjoying the fact that weād wrapped.Ā We were waiting for the other girls to join us and we all get a simultaneous text message on our phones of a video of what was just shot. And we were likeĀ āWHAT IS HAPPENING?!Ā We were all really, really upset that weād missed it in action.ā
[about the queerbaiting] Ā āI totally understand a bit of the backlash and the let down because thatās what a trailer and a teaser are for, is to show you want to expectā¦ I think, to be honest with you, my personal opinion is sadly I donāt think the world is ready, honestly, for Bechloe. There are more advanced cities and more advanced people, but I do think we have a bit of a long way to go before itās still in mainstream, commercialised feature filmsā¦ We know that if it was put out there, we know there was a definite target audience who would have absolutely loved it so thatās why weāre hoping that you guys get to see the cut footage.ā
