Gundam universe inspired by the GARO franchise
So, this is an idea that's been bugging me recently. This is a Gundam universe that's inspired by the Makai armors of the tokusatsu franchise Garo. Yes, Garo, Kamen Rider, and Gridman are tokusatsu franchises, not mecha. Get it right (Banpresto certainly doesn't).
Basics
So, this universe has discovered magic. As such, convensional technology has been traded for more enviornment-friendly methods. Similar to Guilty Gear. Humanity doesn't colonize the cosmos like in other universes, due to the sheer impracticality of it. Technology that would normally give the other Gundam universe the big win is, at most, just barely strong enough to contend with this universe. Our protagonist(s) calls it 1: an unfathomable over-reliance on technology and 2: lacking faith.
For the newcomers, the Mobile Suits/Armors are the mecha of the Gundam franchise. In this universe though, they are actual suits of armor, with the mobile armors being the predecessors to the mobile suits (ala IBO). The Armors are more similar to the traditional mecha of the franchise, being as big and destructive as them, if not more. The Suits are more like the armors from GARO, being human-sized, faster, more agile, and primarily focused in melee combat, as well as mostly based on animals.
The Gundams here are both, like the original RX-78-2, a specifically named suit and, much like later iterations, a specific type of suit. The Gundam and its successors are meant to be Suits representing the hope of the future, fighting for it regardless of a violent past and an uncertain present. That are strictly long-sword focused and, while there are plenty of imitators due to how much of a significance they have on this universe and its populace, there are only 13 true Gundams (and 1 prototype).
These things were made by a group of people, the first being used by one individual and then the succeeding Gundam would be used by the individual's successor. However, some believe that it's not a group, but a single individual using these things through various incarnations of their life. This leads to various conspiracy theories and debates regarding the Gundams' user(s) and even the user(s) themself allude to the possibility of all 13 Gundam users being the same person, while still being very cryptic.
This continuous consciousness idea applies to the Gundams as well, for some people theorize the Gundam line to be sentient in some way and with a single consciousness. The Gundams will often act of their own in times of great need and have the same voice and personality when shown; that of Ryosei Konishi, who portrays as Kouga Saejima: The original GARO protagonist from 2005 and GARO's main universe.
The Gundams do have a steed. A transformable and (confirmed to be) sentient one based on the White Base, transforming from a pegasus to a motorcycle, named Shirouma. He functions as both Gouten AND Zaruba from Garo, even voiced by Zaruba's Japanese/original VA: Hironobu Kageyama of JAM Project. He is equally cryptic regarding his true nature and that of the Gundams and their users.

It’s extremely fucked up that some ppl try to make you feel stupid and immature for hoping for a better world. You say you want world peace and mfs think you need a pacifier; dawg, I just don’t want ppl dying from violence. This idea that ppl simply must die as casualties of war is misanthropic to say the least.
According to the CDC, in 10 percent of those drownings, the adult will actually watch the child do it, having no idea it is happening. Drowning does not look like drowning—Dr. Pia, in an article in the Coast Guard’s On Scene magazine, described the Instinctive Drowning Response like this:
“Except in rare circumstances, drowning people are physiologically unable to call out for help. The respiratory system was designed for breathing. Speech is the secondary or overlaid function. Breathing must be fulfilled before speech occurs.
Drowning people’s mouths alternately sink below and reappear above the surface of the water. The mouths of drowning people are not above the surface of the water long enough for them to exhale, inhale, and call out for help. When the drowning people’s mouths are above the surface, they exhale and inhale quickly as their mouths start to sink below the surface of the water.
Drowning people cannot wave for help. Nature instinctively forces them to extend their arms laterally and press down on the water’s surface. Pressing down on the surface of the water permits drowning people to leverage their bodies so they can lift their mouths out of the water to breathe.
Throughout the Instinctive Drowning Response, drowning people cannot voluntarily control their arm movements. Physiologically, drowning people who are struggling on the surface of the water cannot stop drowning and perform voluntary movements such as waving for help, moving toward a rescuer, or reaching out for a piece of rescue equipment.
From beginning to end of the Instinctive Drowning Response people’s bodies remain upright in the water, with no evidence of a supporting kick. Unless rescued by a trained lifeguard, these drowning people can only struggle on the surface of the water from 20 to 60 seconds before submersion occurs.”
This doesn’t mean that a person that is yelling for help and thrashing isn’t in real trouble—they are experiencing aquatic distress. Not always present before the Instinctive Drowning Response, aquatic distress doesn’t last long—but unlike true drowning, these victims can still assist in their own rescue. They can grab lifelines, throw rings, etc.
Look for these other signs of drowning when persons are in the water:
Head low in the water, mouth at water level
Head tilted back with mouth open
Eyes glassy and empty, unable to focus
Eyes closed
Hair over forehead or eyes
Not using legs—vertical
Hyperventilating or gasping
Trying to swim in a particular direction but not making headway
Trying to roll over on the back
Appear to be climbing an invisible ladder
So if a crew member falls overboard and everything looks OK—don’t be too sure. Sometimes the most common indication that someone is drowning is that they don’t look like they’re drowning. They may just look like they are treading water and looking up at the deck. One way to be sure? Ask them, “Are you all right?” If they can answer at all—they probably are. If they return a blank stare, you may have less than 30 seconds to get to them. And parents—children playing in the water make noise. When they get quiet, you get to them and find out why.

BOOST FOR THE SUMMER. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.
Can I just say thank you to OP for putting such a detailed description on this?
I’ve been a lifeguard for 6 years now and of all the saves I’ve done, maybe two or three had people drowning in the stereotypical thrashing style. And even those, like the save I made last weekend, it was exactly like OP describes where the person’s head is going in and out of the water but it isn’t long enough to get any air. Mostly you recognize drowning by the look on someone’s face. If someone looks wide eyed and terrified or confused, chances are they’re drowning. That look of “oh shit” is pretty easily recognizable. And even if you can’t tell for sure: GO AFTER THEM ANYWAY. I’ve done “saves” where a kid was pretending to drown and I mistook it for real drowning, but that’s preferable to a kid ACTUALLY drowning.
Also please remember that even strong swimmers can drown if they have a medical emergency, get cramps, or get too tired. If your friend knows how to swim but they’re acting funny get them to land. And even if someone can respond when you ask them if they need help, if they say they do need help? GO HELP THEM.
However . If the victim is a stranger, I can’t recommend trying to get them. Lifeguards literally train to escape “attacks,” because people who are drowning can freak the fuck out and grab you and make YOU drown as well. If you do go in after someone, take hold of them from the back and talk to them the whole time. IF YOU ARE GRABBED: duck down into the water as low as you can get. The person is panicking and won’t want to go under water and should release you. Shove up at their hands and push them away from you as you duck under. Don’t die trying to save someone else.
Please guys, read and memorize this post. Not all places have lifeguards. Being able to recognize drowning is such an important skill to have and you can save someone’s life.
Just incase!
In a water park once, I was suddenly grabbed by a child and he dragged me under the water without warning. I was going to get angry with him when I resurfaced because I thought he was being an ass, until I looked at him go back in and out hyperventilating the entire time. I grabbed him under his arms and began trying to drag him out while screaming for the lifeguard.
When the lifeguard got us both out, a woman came running down and accused me of harming him and said he had been completely fine in the water. That there was no reason to drag him out of there. The lifeguard had to explain to her that her son had been drowning, to which her response was to say that she didn’t hear him call for help.
People seriously need to learn the signs.
http://spotthedrowningchild.com/ really demonstrates how easy it is to miss drowning
Arcadia Prime (Arcee as Prime): Skybound stuff
Arcadia definition: An idyllic, pastoral paradise characterized by peaceful, simple, and rural life, often representing a utopian vision of harmony with nature.
So, this is a take on Arcee from Skybound as a Prime, instead of Elita.
From what I understand, the Matrix in Skybound doesn't SEEM to have the same rules as it does in other universes, where it chooses someone who is worthy. As such, for this idea, this Matrix works based on its "Choose One Who's Worthy" rule in other universe.
During Optimus and Elita's "duel". Arcee (who's Magnus atp) steps and breaks up the fight before the Matrix can be torn from Optimus's chest. She then explains how ridiculous and foolish it is for the Autobots to be fighting amongst themselves in general, let alone over leadership.
Elita criticizes Arcee for this, claiming that Opitmus has abandoned Cybertron for Earth and willing to let Cybertron die. Arcee can't deny that Optimus is prioritizing Earth over Cybertron, before explaining that it's because Optimus has seen the bigger picture of the war. That the war will not stop at Cybertron, that the war will consume the entire universe, so Earth should be worth defending too.
Despite Arcee give Optimus the hope that he made the right call in staying on Earth, it can't restore the will that has been broken. He gives up the Matrix, before handing it to Arcee. Arcee, stunned by this, asks if Optimus is truly making the right choice. Optimus doesn't say anything, onlying giving a sad and tired expression. Arcee, ultimately, takes up the mantle of Prime, becoming Arcadia Prime.
I have two choices in regards to alt modes for Arcadia Prime. She could transform only into an attack helicopter (akin to the Mil Mi-26) or she could be like the Thrilling 30 Springer toy, who has an armored car and helicopter mode (though I feel like that's Springer's entire gimmick). Either way, she'd have the color scheme of her TFP counterpart.
A lot of characters are, expectedly, stunned by this too. And some not really thrilled by this. Arcadia makes it clear that she will not let the Prime mantle become corrupted by the war any longer and has Optimus take Carly (and Spike, if he was present) away from the Autobots for now. Cliffjumper joins Optimus as well.
Now that Optimus, Cliffjumper, and the humans are out of harm's way, Arcadia admits that Optimus is too kind for his own good, yet knows that it's what make him a hero and loved by so many. That kindness and compassion made the Autobots greater than what they could've been.
Elita claims that Optimus's mercy has only dragged the war on and has made them weaker. Arcadia says that while he would probably be a more effective military leader, he wouldn't be Optimus...just a stranger in his image. Arcadia then says that she fears that the war has consumed Elita entirely, leaving only a stranger in her image.
Arcadia then gives two choices. Either stay and prevent the Decepticons from destroying another world and species as they did Cybertron or leave and continue the war on Cybertron. She then makes it clear that fighting amongst each other is out of the question.
Ultimately, most of the Autobots that remained on Cybertron return to Cybertron, while most of the Autobots that arrived on Earth via the Ark stay on Earth. A few characters, like Ultra Magnus, choose to go back to Cybertron in an effort to give it the hope Optimus tried searching for, while others choose to remain on Earth under Arcadia's leadership.
Transformers OC...kinda.
So, this is an OC that repurposes the Nemesis Prime and Shattered Glass colors. He is, much like the two characters he's based on, Optimus's dark mirror double. HOWEVER, he only exists as another personality of Optimus, born as a result of serious trauma and near-death experiences (the latter of which Optimus is known for).
He is violent and aggressive, but he only wants to protect Optimus and knows that neither of them can exist without each other. He still shares the same love for life, the Autobots, and Earth like Optimus, but his methods of protecting them can be described as AGGRESSIVE VIGILANTISM and, in regards to the Decepticons, VERY monstrous.
In other words, he's a borderline antihero on levels comparable to Spawn, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Red Hood, and even Superboy-Prime. He's not evil, but he IS very misguided due to 1: what he believes is the best method to respond to trauma and attacks and 2: his very purpose; to protect Optimus and his allies by any means.
I’m thinking of the name “Kryptos Vindictus” or "Kryptos Thymós" (Hidden (Greek) Avenged (Latin) or Hidden Rage (all Greek) in English). His appearance using the SG and Nemesis Prime colors are purely his personal preferences and a means for him to help others differentiate between him and Optimus.
Due to his nature as a personality, there is no real cosmetic differences between him and Optimus, hence why he deliberately changes the color scheme of Optimus's body when he's in control. Though if he had his own distinct design, it would be the early 2000s' Classics/Henkei mold of Optimus Prime.
Skybound would be the most likely universe for this guy to pop up in, due to Optimus's characterization in it, as he is still the kind and gentle Giant Alien Robot Space Dad that everyone loves him for, but has gone through serious trauma and a vengeful phase that he's trying to distance himself from.
Some good news. Got a job last week.

Hey so as the economy continues to get worse in the next few years, gambling companies are going to go extra hardcore predatory as people become more desperate. Yes, even more than they already are. You have to promise me right now you're not going to fall for it. No gambling, okay?
This is going to be especially bad with prediction markets and sports gambling, and it's already really fucking bad. But it also goes for loot boxes, blind box collectables, trading card games, and ESPECIALLY gacha games.

Some people really wanna go out of their way to make Mari and Sunny look like terrible people and siblings, regardless of reason....
...Completely disregarding the fact that 1: Mari's fall was an accident, 2: neither of them intended to hurt each other, and 3: these two love each other dearly.
Can’t help but feel like the Transformers fandom knows ONLY how to piss each other off over the stupidest things.
Black Rock Shooter: (Of/The) Reckoning (BRS idea)
There's still a good number of unknowns, so treat this as a work in progress.
While I have NO idea was a plot would look like for this, I do have a few ideas regarding origins and designs.
BASIS
Everyone here is based on their respective insignia. So a star for BRS, a skull for DM, a horned crown for BGS, you know the gist.
BRS
So, BRS is going to be treated as a living star in general. Not specifically a blue hyper giant, but she may as well have the power equivalent to one. Whether she is one in humanoid form, made from one, or houses one as her soul, it doesn't matter. This does mean she can have multiple forms. She effectively drops from the sky and lands on Earth. Very mythology-based and Superman-inspried in a way.
DM
DM is probably going to be a messenger and reaper of the dead or the accumulation of the dead's will in general. She might be more of an anti-villain, while still being antagonistic and BRS's arch-rival, due to her knowing that BRS is essentially defying the natural order of things in a way. This ultimately makes her much stronger and more dangerous than her previous counterparts.
BGS
BGS is also anti-villain-like, in the sense that she wants to do what she wants. Much like Bowser from the Mario RPGs, who's very well-written, very anti-villain, and still antagonistic. She harbors no ill-intent towards BRS or those she protects. They just so happen to be in BGS's way, so she has to get them out of her way. She DOES have personal issues with Dragon Slayer though. She also has multiple forms, though limited, due to not being in Hell.
OTHERS
A few things: I'm NOT sure if Strength, Chariot, or other BRS-main-stays are gonna be here outside of the core trio. Dragon Slayer and Elder Caster WILL be here and maintain their roles as main supporting characters for BRS. Dragon Slayer would still be BGS's twin sister and Elder Caster would still be DS's daughter (only child this time). WRS WOULD be a thing as an overarching villain who the trio teams up against, because WRS is the way of things and is a crazed bitch.
DESIGN DESCRIPTIONS
So, about the true forms of everyone. TECHNICALLY, they are formless, but they need a physical form in order to operate in the physical world. This isn't a problem for BRS and BGS, as their true forms are forms of matter (specifically plasma).
This is MUCH more difficult for DM and WRS. Effectively, they are COSMIC HORROR ENTITIES. And this makes them very dangerous to the physical world, should they be able to materialize in their true forms.
BRS Forms
All of her appearances are humanoid, as her true form is too dangerous to be unleashed within a Solar System. She also has no "human" form, because of her being so powerful.
Base: She is more or less similar to her traditional design, though has black jeans, a blue star-decorated t-shirt, flat-soled knee-high boots and sneakers, a studded jacket, and fingerless gloves. She has a 5-pointed star scarred into her back. Hair is identical to Huke's BRS Beast design with blue hue and undertones. She takes on a late teens to early 20s appearance here with a toned physique and about 5' 5''.
Beast: While similar to its initial design, is noticeably more feral, demonic, and vicious, as to show how dangerous BRS is. Beast is three times as tall, but looks much shorter due to being hunched over and is more lanky, akin to certain werewolf designs. She is very much bound by physical law here, but is still superhuman in strength and speed. She is also not that mentally stable here.
Insane: he closest BRS can get to her full power within a humanoid vessel and here, she takes the star-motif to its extreme, with armor in the shape of 5-pointed stars. Insane form is also the motif of a black hole and has crazy abilities. Her cannon is literally just a quasar that is subject to her will and her sword is just a giant slab of solidified cosmic radiation. Hair is pitch bitch and in a style similar to that of the 2012 Insane BRS design and takes on the appearance of a woman in her 30s to 40s.
Insane (con't): Certain laws of physics don’t apply to her, but she is bound by psychological principles. In other words, while she may be far above everyone in a physical sense, her mind and spirit are still bound by our current understanding, meaning she can be emotionally and mentally manipulated by individuals who are on her level. However, attempting such an action might prove to be hazardous to your health. She is also twice as big than her base form, due to height and muscle mass.
True: Although impossible to use in the current Solar System, BRS's true form is legitimately that of a blue star. (MIGHT be able to have a humanoid shape based on PGR's BRS design to represent her timelessness?)
BGS Forms
In her powerless human form, she is nigh-identical to Saya in the 2012 anime, her human self in other interpretations of the franchise. She is always in the guise of a woman in her 20s to 30s and is about 5' 10''.
Base: She is effectively identical to her classic depictions. Same with hair.
Demon: She has wings and a tail and her clothes are traded for either armor or dragonic scales over her body, giving her an animalistic appearance. Hair is much more wilder and redder here. She can freely alter her size here, but she prefers to be either 8 feet or closer to 80 feet.
True: Just a giant humanoid pillar of fire, capable of shapeshifting into a demonic dragon, golem, and other monsters. Hair is effectively the smoke coming from her form constantly burning.
DM Forms
In her powerless human form, she is identical to her human self Yomi from most interpretations of the character. Much like BRS, the age of her exterior appearance shifts depending on form. She's 5' 5'' here.
Base: She is more or less similar to her 2012 appearance, though with a few changes to make her look more like a zombie. She looks like in her late teens to early 20s.
Reaper: She looks identical to her Rock-chan appearance, though again, is altered slightly to show bones and make her look more like an undead. She looks like a mature woman in her 30s. She's about 6 feet here.
True: She's straight-up a green-glowing revenant. Just as horrific as it implies. Size is freely manipulated, much like BGS's demon form.
Hair is up to interpretation, as I don't really know what hairstyle DM should have here.
WRS Forms
Sing Love and WRS: These forms are more or less similar to their original counterparts, though there are some creative liberties. Hair is identical to her initial counterpart. Due to her initial depiction's nature, her age is impossible to accurately define. That is the same here. She is the same height as her initial counterpart.
1: Sing Love LOOKS human at a distance and untrained eye, but when you examine details, she is noticeably unsettling looking. Like everything just looks off in some way to make it clear that she may not be human.
2: WRS's design, despite being similar to her initial design, is meant to look alien. Whether that be the clothes look futuristic, she's wearing armor instead of clothes, etc. It does NOT look like it came from Earth.
True: The truth about WRS is that, unlike her initial counterpart, she is a HIVEMIND here. She is her entire fleet down to the last soldier. She's free to kill them off, because she knows that she can always generate new soldiers.
