Reviewing a lot of my game library: flipwitch and the forbidden $3% hex

Plot synopsis (act 1): In Flipwitch you play as the apprentice to the previous flipwitch Beatrix (called sensei) who is able to change her gender almost instantaneously but is nearing retirement, unfortunately Beatrix's old rival the chaos witch had reappeared and was causing havoc across the land causing Beatrix to teach you how to 'flip' (change your gender)
The flip ability is the main gimmick of the game trought the world you encounter objects that are eather pink or blue usually with the respective gender's symbol on them and your active gender will affect their state
Like any Metroidvania you unlock different abilities in order to progress these are mostly shapeshifting abilities where by pressing certain buttons or using items you change form to do things like pass thrugh vines or having a midair dash, their are also non-progression based abilities that you earn from finding hidden loot and buying them from the shops, most of these use mana which is mostly there to balance these items.
The art style of the game is amazing, i have always liked pixel graphics you can see the colorful art direction and how it is directly affected by the game's 18+ nature, the animations are smoth and boucy.
The game has two difficulties on save Creation, on the easyer difficulty the game disables steam achievements which I personally dislike because I kinda suck at games.
Even on the easyer difficulty some of the late game enemies are able to two shot you with max health upgrades, I like the peach system where after compleating a certain presentage of quests you gain the ability to gain back a good amount of life just by pressing a buton but only a ceartain number of times per interaction with a save point.
