His Iridescent Majesty emperor Quintus and SangβaβSangrruah, the witch of late dreams. These two are the main characters of the first book of comics Iβm (extremely slowly) making.
Thatβs a long picture which may get cropped, probably youβll need to open it to see the full indecent scroll. :)

When going through my late grandpas things we found a box of dias of the more.... exciting kind beyond all the heaps of family and tourist pictures. And I had saved them to do _something_ with them. At first I wanted to do some resin jewelry or similar but realised that it wouldn't really work bc the pictures have to be backlit being dias (d'uh). So I ended up makeing a handfull of sneaky spicey keychains that I gave away to friends gatcha style - which was met with great delight. This is actually the second batch of them, bc I forgot to take pictures of the first one but please anjoy this tiny selection of grandpas spicey stash.
This is such a cool idea and a wonderful way to keep these beautiful photos owo

Wanted to do one challenging cosplay project and I did! It took a few months, lots of fabric, patience and thread but I really love how it turned out ππ» all of the seams are clean, the 3 kimono have interfacing (even the sleeves! The patterns are individually sewn onto the fabric with top stitches.
Only downside: my actual wig was stuck in postal service drama...
Feel free to zoom in π (you can find more details on Instagram and Tiktok, same username!)
Big Shoutout to @misskrone for taking these gorgeous af pictures at Connichi β¨

Get yourself a fabric store that will light your fabric on fire for you
No but legit I asked what the fiber content of something was and the guy didnβt know so he cut a chunk off and lit it on fire and felt the ashes and was like. Yeah this is mostly cotton with a lil bit of silk. And that was the moment I knew. This is it. This is the fabric store for me. Also that guy is marriage material. Not for me but damn some person is gonna be so happy with him.
Ok but this is actually one of the easiest ways to tell what something is made of! I did a textiles degree and one day as part of a class we all went outside with a pile of scrap fabric and set fire to the little pieces and recorded how they burned. We were given a chart that looked something like this to tell what each fabric was (it gets a little tricky is itβs a mix of fabrics though). Why did we do this? There is very little regulation in the textiles industry so a lot of materials are mislabelled as something they arenβt and sold for more than they should be, also sometimes people buy fabric second hand or discounted which doesnβt have any label at all. If you have a fabric you are having doubts about, cut a tiny piece off and do the burn test and you should know pretty fast what you are dealing with. Anyways your fabric store should be lighting things on fire because this means that they are actually checking what the fabrics are and arenβt trying to pass cheap stuff off as more expensive than it is.
Ooh! I knew it was a standard test but I hadnβt seen a chart as detailed as this thank you!

Um.
i don't think "flex" is a strong enough word for whatever the last three minutes of my life was
That was one of the most beautiful sequences I have ever seen.
Marahute the eagle and her animation are some of my most formative memories of learning to adore animation as a discipline. I wore out our VHS tape of this movie just watching her sequences over and over again.
The speed, scale, weight and accuracy with which lead animator Glen Keane captures her motion and movement, and balances the scales between anthropomorphizing her and keeping her strictly animal... it's just masterful. It is so, so beautiful as a piece of craft.
This was 20 years before How to Train Your Dragon, and that first flight has so much of the same energy.
Alex Hirsch you will always be a legend to me
Did wear Eddie again for a little finisage of friends. 4am somewhat moist from rain and heat wasn't a bad look.
