QSMP Femslash Fest Info
Dates:
Sign-ups: December 9-16
Discord invites will sent out as soon as sign-ups close
Prompt nominations: December 18-23
Prompt claim period: December 23-27
Check-in: mid-January, date TBD
Final deadline: February 16
Rules:
Works must feature female characters from the QSMP, including Purgatory 2 participants.
No genderswaps of male characters.
No sexually explicit works as part of the event; suggestive themes are fine, as are fade-to-black scenes.
All works must be tagged appropriately.
Poly ships are allowed.
Any type of fanwork creator can sign up for the event!
Structure:
This event is going to be set up as a prompt fest. If you've participated in Voices for the Blade, you'll be familiar with that type of event.
After sign-ups close and every participant has joined the Discord, we will open prompt nominations. Prompts can be about anything, so long as they majorly feature a QSMP femslash ship. Participants can nominate multiple prompts and can nominate them anonymously or with their username attached.
We will then open prompt claims. Prompts can be claimed by multiple people, and some prompts may not be claimed at all. If we have several unclaimed prompts after the claim period ends, mods will post the extra prompts to Tumblr in case they catch anyone's interest and people decide to join at that point. Participants joining during this period will not be able to nominate prompts themselves.
Participants can begin creating as soon as most prompts have been claimed. We will have one progress check-in sometime in January, date TBD. The final deadline for the event will be February 16th.
This is meant to be a fun event for the QSMPblr community, so if necessary, people will be able to take some extra time to finish their works if needed.
