Thank you so much for your art ily π₯Ί
I know we all miss Gimbappe (π) so I wanted to ask you what your favourite part of Giru/Baps dynamic is, what attracted you to them or maybe your favourite parts of drawing them are?
Iβm so starved for crumbs so sorry if my ask is overwhelming! π
hi !!! ow.....you're so sweet tysm !! π₯Ίπ«Ά means a lot you have no idea !!!
oh we miss them BAD BAD. but yeah we gotta roll gang π€π
you know, i'm asking these questions to myself everyday lol ! even now i couldn't quite explain why....im really not good with expressing my ideas clearly π ill do my best though bear with me. damn this got annoyingly long lol
well mmm there's something with gimbappe that makes it quite fascinating i guess. it hits my nerves in a good way....blah im just throwing words randomly rn.
a lot has been said about their professional/on field dynamic, its evolution and the reversal from mentor/pupil to teammate/captain is so....ack. it's very strong and unique.
but i'd say my favorite part of their dynamic is.....how intriguing their interactions feel when you actually get something out of them lol. off the field, i find their chemistry to be one of the most fragile and nonsensical on the whole edf relationship chart, one flick of the wrist and its gone isn't it. and yet it's enough to find them gravitating towards each other. makes these small interactions meaningful and thoughtful....much to think about.
TBH i have no idea what i'm talking about here or what exactly makes me drawn to them....but yeah. gimbappe got me by the throat. it's the adrenaline of sports i guess π
also well there's the superficial aspect that attracted me i guess lol ! they're eyecandy. i find them to be really nice put next to each other lol i really think they complement each other quite well. (and this is coming from someone that doesn't pay attention to/remember people's faces well π€‘) so. yeah they moved my esthetic eye i guess.....which brings us to drawing. π§βπ¨
well. i have so much i could say but have these personal notes from me bc this is getting long LMFAO
OK......also ourgh there's the artistic aspect of their complementarity. it's just a me thing but hear me out. (THIS IS VERY STUPID TBH BUT I LIKE THE SOUND OF IT..........augh lol)
in art fundamentals when you oversimplify shapes, you generally end up with 3 essential shapes : circle, square, triangle
when i draw kylian, i do a lot of mix of circles and squares. whereas oliv is more of a mix of squares and triangles. they overlap on the square. then the circles. and the triangles. it's all there when you put them together. yeah. something. completing. (??????) it makes sense to me on the artistic scale at least. (what the fuck lol)
so yeah thats it really. thank you for reading π
but i'd love to hear yours and everyone else's opinion on the matter though !! ππ
