I think the most frustrating part of all this is the assumption that the only possible impetus for Quackity's silence is the server drama.
I'm sure that releasing a project you've been working on for months only to be undercut by a very similar project from a "friend" who has shown little care for the subject beforehand must have stung. That might have been the final straw for Quackity; who knows. But Quackity has been cagier around Dream for a long time now. Framing this as "just Minecraft drama" and "a recent change" only benefits Dream - why else do you think he would write this message on his public account, while restricting other serious situations to private tweets?
Nobody ghosts someone they used to be close with this hard unless they have a damn good reason for it. And nobody who is serious about trying to salvage the friendship would publicly all but accuse their former friend of endorsing horrible things that have happened to them.
This reeks of manipulation.
